Eevee Problem

I traded a Eevee to my Emerald without doing anything to it and have raised it to level 42.

My question is, Why won't it evolve into Umberon or Espeon?

It holds a Soothe Bell so that helps it like me more, and I always keep it in front and never deposit it.

Give it those berrys you first got from the Berry Master, and others after him. The ones that lower base atk or def and such, give it like 5 and then level it up. Works for my, my Umbreon was at lv 19 before my game died

Alright, I'll teach you something I do. I have level 6 Umbreon and Espeons of both genders....actually I traded my Female Umbreon...oh well.

ANyways. Giving the pokemon items works really well. If you want Umbreon, feed the Evee 10 Zinc, 10 Iron, 10 Hp Up. Teach Him Toxic. Then put Exp Share on a pokemon that isn't umbreon. Send umbreon into battle then switch it out for another pokemon. Repeat this until you level him up. I evolved mine at 9:30 am. So That around the time he evolves.

As for Espeon Feed it 10 Carbos, 10 Iron, 10 Calcium...teach it Toxic. Then raise it the same as I explained above. For me, he evolved at 6pm.

Hehe.... Tameness evolutions... some peeps just don't get that you're supposed to keep the critter around for a long time. but Like Rainstorm said feeding it vitamins seems to speed it up a good bit. Berries help too.

Basically just spoil your eevee rotten and you'll soon have an espeon/umbreon

well mine evolved into a umbreon at lv. 31 so i can help just give it alot of pokeblocks and let it battle alot and it should evolve
