Recntly after cloning my Blastoise and a Ditto, it gave me an egg.
Usually with my cloning, it get moves as it would have at level 5.
When my new squirtle hatched, it knew some awkward moves
Tackle
Tail Wip
RAIN DANCE
ICE BEAM
How did he learn those moves? How can I get the full advantages for breeding?

Also was it a male blastoise?

The male passes down the moves, the female passes down the stats. But since ditto was in place of the female, it got the male species and moves. Elementary.
I'm a boy, I just like Dark Magician Girl.

LMAO!!! ya' know I'm typically HAPPY when stuff like this happens. So what if you need to delete a move or two? Tackle is even less useful.

true,
Also, can baby pokemon with ditto as mom learn baby moves?

If ditto is mom and pokemon is male, than moves will be passed on if possible.

I know that, but will baby moves be learned if there is room?
Like if I breed to get a Larvitar using Ditto, is there a chance of it learning Dragon Dance?

Only if the father knows dragon dance can a baby pokemon have dragon dance.

Just breed until one hatches. No big deal.

Yeah, Tyranitar has a 50\50 male\female ratio. Not hard to get one.
