I'd give it a good 6 hours. That's how long it took me.
Feebas, or any Legendary that you have to get via event (Deoxys, Mew) are a pain to me, just because there are no events I can get rides to.

You didn't do a good job then, it's really easy to find if you know what to do...
1) Use Old Rod
2) Fish 3-5 battles in route 119 in each square
3) Catch Feebas ftw

Chimeco hands down. I have never seen a wild one on Mt Pyre
Also Mew, Dexoys, Celibi, Ho-Ho. and Lugia Just becuase you need extra crap to get them.

1) feebas-how many pokemon are located on 6 tiles on a whole route?? this one definately takes first place
2) chimecho-this thing honestly shouldnt be so rare. bagon is understandable. but this wind chime? i only got it to complete the dex...
3)latios(ruby) and latias (sapphire)-too much flying and running to encounter it.

Latios wasn't hard for me. I walked around in the grass for a while and after 30 minutes I found it and caught it with a Masterball.
I think Feebas is hardest. I haven't tried yet, but if/when I d, I'm sure it will take a while.

Well, I have a problem Catching a ghost pokemon while its holding Spell Tag. I also Have an issue finding a Doduo with Sharp Beak...
The only pokemon I had a problem with was Meditite. I didnt know it couldn't be caught in Emerald before. I felt pretty stupid when i found out how to get it.

Feebas, would be hardest to find, but very easy to catch.
Chimecho, worthless rare pokemon. Only good to complete the pokedex. Damm... took me almost half an hour to find this worthless pokemon.
All event pokemon(Mew, Deoxys, etc.) is a pain cause I don't know where those events is at.

Lati@s is worse than feebas because even if you do mean look/shadow tag them, they still have a nasty habit of taking a large # of ultra balls to catch while at 1hp and paralyzed. Master Ball for me was used on a Kyogre with 30,30,30 IVs in Hp, SpA, and SpD

I'm not counting event Pokemon cuz' those shouldn't really count cuz' the hard part isn't in the game, it's driving to a event... -__- Anyway, Chemicho for me because it took me 15 min. to get 6 Feebas!!! :D If we weren't talking about only ruby and saphire I'd say the GS ball quest in Pokemon Crystal to get Serebii. ITS SO HARD... :(

are you gusy kidding! chimecho rules and he isnt worthless. anyway celebi and deoxys by far since the events have pasted so AR and trading are the only ways to get them. feebas isnt too hard

I agree w/ you on Feebas. I only got it cuz a good friend gave me an extra one that he had.
Now, Lati@s isn't hard at all... IF you have a master ball. And if you don't... welcome to a world of pain. Its almost impossible to catch w/out a master ball, and Lati@s is as tricky as the Legendary Dogs. Lati@s might even be worse since Hoenn is larger than Johto or Kanto, plus the legendary dragons can appear on water routes. I didn't catch Latios in my Ruby version until after 200 hours of playing it... If only I hadn't forgotten to get the master ball.

a masterball, huh? that explains why u had zero difficulty.
try chasing it around stocked with ultra balls. the reason it was hard for me is because it runs away if you miss catching it or if your pokemon doesnt prevent it from fleeing the minute u try to attack it.
and yes, to be fair feebas is one of the easiest pokemon to CATCH. its a pain to FIND though.

lol. my opinion is that if something is so hard to find, don't try to find it and you will. I found Chimecho, Feebas, and Latios on Emerald all by accident :P

CHIMECHO is easy to catch. He is also a greaat pokemon if u hatch him lv 5. his Sp Attack is crazy. my Chimecho, which i caught lv 20 and trained from there has 158 Sp Attack, and is only Lv 50

event pokemon are tough to get. i dont feel so bad sharking them, as opposed to sharking something like a feebas, which is physically possible to encounter on your own.
i despise sharking but what are u gonna do if u dont have access to these stupid events...

Hard to catch meaning they are hard to find or they just can't seem to get any damage?
Well mine
3. Chimeco-I have one that I caught in the wild, takes too long to find
2. Item Pokemon-For some reason I never find anything besides an Oran Berry
1. Sableye-Because I use a level 70 Ninjask with False Swipe to catch my pokes Sableye has managed to be elusive and impossible to catch with the strategy I use

for me certain rares in the safari zone, but no normal come to mind (emerald that is) Ruby i had to use like 15 ultra balls, and 1 luxury ball before i could capture a chimecho (that still is sitting in the box)
[Genesis]
08-16-2006, 12:37 PM
i completely forgot about the safari zone...id have to say khangaskan/tauros/syther would be in the top 3 hardest to CATCH. same to latios/latias.
Event pokemon? like latios or Mew?
latios isnt really an event pokemon unless u use the eon ticket. but if you get both games i really dont see the point in the ticket..mew is an event pokemon since you have to go to a nintendo event, and they give you rare pokemon/tickets. ho-oh, deoxys and lugia are event pokemon. but i think ho-oh and lugia are already obtainable via gamecube...
whsoe Seribei?
its japanese for celebi.

These are hard to find. Plain and simple
Chimecho
feebas
Lati@s
Event Pokemon: Mew, Celebi, Deoxys
Though this is a little off subject... If there is a pokemon in D/P that is only only in a certain # of squares on some route... I'm personally calling Game freak and chewing them out

Fifth'd!
Feebas: Not hard to catch at all; just a pain to FIND! In Saphire, I got lucky and took me only an hour to find a Feebas, and luckly, it was a female! Latias took me roughly 15. I used max repel with a low level pokemon leading the party. I caught it at route 110 (I think), right where the cycling road is. I went in and out from there to the small patch of grass outside of it, rode around for 7-8 seconds, went back in, back out, repeat (this is good, because when you go in, you don't automatically get off your bike). In Emerald, I haven't found Feebas yet, but I find Latios in 2 minutes with my first Max Repel! very lucky!
Anyway, Feebas: most annoying, Latios/Latias: 2nd place
Hardest to catch (without Master Ball): Latios/Latias: 1st, any legendary pokemon at Lv. 70 with Rest or Recover: 2nd place

Seventh'd. I concur.
I was quite fortunate when I was on my hunt for Feebas. I was prepared on a day-long hunt that I knew would drive me insane, only to find Feebas on my 10th square! :D Sure enough, I caught about 30 of them, found the one with the right nature, and got my Milotic in no time. ^_^
I also caught all the Safari Zone-exclusive Pokemon within 2 trips too. This one seemed MUCH easier compared to the R/B/Y Zone.
However, all that seemed to balance out when I tried to catch Rayquaza, though. =\
Rayquaza was an arse to catch for me. This was my first attempt ever to catch one of those "end-of-the-game" Pokemon (I always used my Master Ball on Mewtwo back in the R/B/Y days), and I didn't expect to have such a hard time with it. -_- When I got it to low health, it'd always use either Rest. -_- Eventually, it'd start using Outrage, which would end up eventually hitting itself when it eventually got confused, knocking itself out. I finally caught it after about 15-20 tries, and ended up using only three Ultra Balls, when I had 136 of them ready "just in case." I lost quite a bit of $, but seeing as battling the E4 would get it back, meh.

Most annoying to catch would be one of the Regis. The specific Regi changes in every new game. There is always one of the three that is a real pain to catch. If you retsart 3 times, it could be a different Regi each time.
Hardest to find is definately Feebas. And I 5th whoever said Nintendumb better not do it in DP. Finding Feebas can really suck.
Got forever?

about that stupid fish feebas... I just found out an easy way to get it!!! all thanks to my brother (he was lucky!!!!!)
In Dewford Town, make the trendy phrase "AMUSING WALKS". then go to Route 119 and surf left from the house w/ lots of wingulls inside. On the opposite shore there is a fisherman. Stand on the square directly below him, then fish with the Old rod on the square directly to the right.
I tested this myself and it works! But I already have a feebas...

No pokemon is really "hard to catch". If you give it a status ailment(preferably frozen\paralysis) and drop it down to 1 hit point (false swipe) then all you have to do is sit and throw ultra balls.
What this thread has moved into is "what pokemon is hardest to find". The easy answer is Lati@s. All other pokemon have set areas that they do not move from. Example: Chimecho will always be on mt. pire. Feebas will always be on route 119. The latis have the ability to be anywhere at anytime (after elite four). That makes them the hardest pokemon to find.

Obiously, because it doesn't matter WHAT you say, as long as you change the phrase it changes Feebas location on route 119 randomly.

Just change the phrase and fish in the same spot over and over and over...while changing the phrase ofcourse...over and over an over. I got lucky catching mine. I was looking for one, and I knew he was supposed to be caught on that route (119?). So I just went up and down the river until I found one...lol. I breed My level 100 Milotic for people now...lol
