Well, this one keeps dying, but whenever I post it I do get some people replying to it... so...
RATE MY TEAM AND OFFER FIXES ^^
First up-
SALAMENCE @ king's rock
Rock Slide
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
Flamethrower
Next-
METAGROSS @ leftovers
Thunderpunch
Explosion
Meteor Mash
Earthquake
and next-
SKARMORY @ leftovers
Spikes
Toxic
Steel Wing
Roar
up now is-
HOUNDOOM @ focus band
Sludge Bomb
Flamethrower
Swagger
Crunch
and...-
KINGDRA @ leftovers
Surf
Ice Beam
Rain Dance
Toxic
and last but not least-
AERODACTYL @ king's rock
Rock Slide
Aerial Ace
Double-Edge
Dragon Claw
Strategies-
Salamence-
Salamence's high speed and higher attack make it an ideal physical sweeper. Immunity to Earthquake also really helps out a lot. Just send him out against a pokemon and sweep away with whatever's most useful. Dragon Claw is a special move, if I'm correct, so therefore it is only on my Salamence to recieve the STAB bonus. Flamethrower is for Ice types, like Glalie(my friend uses this pokemon a LOT)
Metagross-
Simple-Earthquake's there because it simply kicks butt, and Meteor Mash is a strong steel move, and Metagross, being a steel type, gets a STAB. Thunderpunch and Explosion are there because I just learned the hard way that METAGROSS CANNOT LEARN FOCUS PUNCH!!!!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!
Skarmory-
Let's face it-there's only one effective Skarmory. Toxispiker. Simply lay out 3 sets of spikes, use toxic, then roar, use toxic on the next poke, roar, keep doing that until they're all poisoned, and just sweep away with steel wing/drill peck(egg move).
Houndoom-
I'm a dog person, and this dog fits my tastes rather well. High special attack and speed makes Houndoom a good special sweeper. Crunch and Flamethrower get STABs, and they're both special attacks. Swagger will help against another special sweeper, and Sludge Bomb's there because it works.
Kingdra-
Swift Swim. Nothing more to say really... Send in Kingdra, use Rain Dance (or for you legendary users out there, send out kyogre then switch to Kingdra -.-), then surf and ice beam as needed. Toxic's there because, well, Toxic rocks.
Aerodactyl-
My favorite pokemon, and a good one too. Simple strategy here as well, high attack and speed make it an ideal sweeper, and the rock type helps with defenses. Rock Slide and Aerial Ace get a STAB bonus, and Double-Edge takes advantage of Aerodactyl's Rock Head ability. Dragon Claw is there for fun and I am not taking it off. It also is a pretty effective move.
I do have two more pokemon I use, but those will be used ONLY in the battle frontier. So far, here are the levels, moves, and whatever.
BLAZIKEN @ some random berry
lvl 68 right now
Blaze Kick
Rock Slide
Sky Uppercut
Overheat
Strategy-
Blaziken's base 120 attack and 110 special attack rock for mixed sweeping. Send out Blaziken when it's cool, cuz he has lower defenses, and Blaze Kick/Rock Slide/Sky Uppercut away. Overheat's there for when I'm in a tight spot.
GENGAR @ leftovers
Lvl 50
Psychic
Shadow Ball
Night Shade
Toxic
Strategy-
Gengar's got a nice speed and special attack, which rocks for sweeping. Psychic and Shadow Ball(STAB) away for maximum effectiveness. Toxic helps too, of course, and Night Shade's good if the opponent has something with really high defenses or a Dark type, such as a Houndoom, which will screw up my Gengar, ghost moves don't affect it that much.
IF RATING, USE A 1-10 SCALE(1 worst, 10 best) PLEASE! If you have the time, I'd like you to rate my team with changes and without changes.
If you have a LOT of time, I'd appreciate it if you could rate each individual Pokemon :p
Thanks, and God Bless
