Skarmory moveset

Lay out a couple layers of Spikes, use Toxic, Roar, rinse and repeat :)

I am not 100% shure about this but I think that there is a new attack in Diamond/Pearl called poison barb that is like spikes but poisons ensted of damage. If Skarmory can learn it you may be able to give him this ensted of Toxic but like I said I am not 100% shure on that.

Yeah, they've got a whole list of new attacks that are confirmed to be on the new games. Poison Barb is there, and does exactly what has just been said. Without Steel Wing, then you could just use Fly. If Skarmory's in the air, then Toxic just continues to take away HP, and your opponent misses every other attack, just as if they were Slakoth or Slaking.

heres what to do for a better skarmory
breed a girl skarmory and male dodrio that knows drill peck

train the hatched skarmory that knows drill peck and teach it spikes,roar and toxic

I like the idea of a skarmory knowing fly, so I'd teach it that, toxic, spikes and roar

I think you should use a lot of sp. defense EV's and HP ground because a Magniton with magnet pull and thunderbolt is a Skarmory's nightmare.

Drill Peck/Steel Wing

Strategy-

Lay out 3 sets of spikes, then use toxic on the opponent, roar, use toxic, roar, and keep doing that until they're all poisoned. Then, just sweep away with your Drill Peck/Steel Wing. I suggest Drill Peck.

toxic, spikes a few and then whirlwind
and item needs to be leftovers
with the EVs 252 Def 154 HP 104 Atk with an Impish Nature
and it needs to have sturdy for the ability
