what is the best precon deck

i have bought many a precon decks and there are only 2 that i've ever found that i could play with just as it came out of the box (no changes) and it b effective...

the Rock Garden deck from aquapolis did a very good job for me and won me many battles without any modifcations
the other that worked like this was the Skyridge Deck with Xatu in it (had every diferent type of basic energy in it) i forget wut it was called tho...xatu on the front tho :p lol

most other decks i just buy because it has an evelutionary line i'm interested in and i take apart the deck and make a new one using any cards that came
in it that i like and adding sum of my own....

bottom line, if ur looking for the best precon deck straight outta the plastic i'd say Rock Garden (worked for me) other than that i say just choose a deck that u like the pokemon in it and use em to make ur own deck...

speaking of precon decks...does anyone know wut cards come in the EX Sandstorm Oasis Deck? (the one with armaldo)

I too would like to know what Theme decks are worth buying. I just started playing Pokemon about a month ago, and so far have bought the Sapphire Deck, a Team Aqua deck, and an Eco deck (but only to get the steel coin that was in it). Most of these decks have had some ok cards, but nothing spectacular. Currently I am playing a Water/ Grass deck, that still needs quite a bit of improvements.

a precon deck is only worth what it's worth to u...in other words...a precon that means nothing to 1 person could do wonders for sum1 else....depends on wut cards ur looking for

Depends on what you're looking for. If you're looking for cards to put in to a deck later, go with 1 of the Expedition or Skyridge decks for the trainers. If you want a deck to play out of the box, both the Aqua and Magma decks are OK.

the Aqua and Magma decks dont have enuff trainers, and have too many pokemon included that u dont need, maybe if ur playin ur brother who got his magma or aqua deck out of the box as well....other than that they arent so gr8 to me...with a little modification they can b awesome tho
