There's no way I'd use Marty in this deck. Anything that requires a Red energy is virtual death in late game situations.

Thats true, but the reason why I choose marty is because he gave me green energy to use with Sparrow's signature attack. But that may be a too situational combo. If i took marty out what should I add or make more of?

Hmmm...good question...well, you don't have any Will Turners in there, I'd add him. I also really like using Tia Dalma, so you can see what's upcoming.

Also, I have YET to find that signature moves make a difference in any game...even the RARE ones...so I'm currently making decks without regard as to signature moves.

Good suggestions. I overlooked Tia Dalma's potential, so I'll give her a go and see what she can do, and same goes for Will Turner. As far as Marty goes, the single red energy was a hefty price to pay, and I didn't find it all that worth it for Sparrow's sign moves. The reason why I prefer Jack Sparrow (#208) is because I can charge my zones with his first sign. attack and then uncharge my opp. zones with his second. Also, I prefer the sign. atk when I can because, even if they aren't gamebraking (yet) like you mentioned, they still deprive my opponent of being able to focus energy from a counterattack, whcih is what a lot of decks I've played depend on. So as long as I can gain the advantage on energy, I have them pretty trapped by playing Sparrow's sign. attack rather frequently. And if all goes wrong, I have my other cards. :D

Deck is updated with WildWill's fixes.

Additional Comment:
Fixed the deck. It's fairly different now. I added in more multiples of the same card and fixed the amount of my advantages and allies.

I disagree with this statement. Sure, an individual signature attack may not be all that game-breaking. And certainly you won't notice any particular advantage if both players are unleashing their signatures at roughly the same rate. But I find that if I can construct a deck that allows me to cycle through my signature moves at a rate that is considerably faster than my opponent, I will win every time.

Don't forget, the move alone isn't the only payoff. Typically they are very cheap or cost nothing at all, but they also prevent your opponent from replenishing. If you can significantly increase your rate of charging or slow his down, you will gain a distinct advantage in energy and number of quality attacks.

After a point has been scored against me, I almost always chose to defend against the basic 4-force attack, as it is easy to handle and gives you more charging opportunities.

Well, now that's a strategy I hadn't tried quite yet...I just don't see the sig moves as being all that important.

I guess it just depends on what your focus is in the deck design. I see three primary strategy focuses. I'm sure there are others, but these are the main ones where there are enough cards to support the strategy:

1. Charging your zones/uncharging your opponents -- provides sig move cycling advantage.

2. Energy generation/denial -- provides energy advantage which can often be game deciding.

3. Ally manipulation -- gain ally advantage and use resultant abilities granted by said advantage. This is a more flexible strategy, but can be effective.

Yea, both of you guys have a great point. Although the cycling signature moves is harder to pull of, it nets you a pretty decent advantage energy wise, because your opponent won't be able to focus after you attack, becasue the counterattack itself doesn't come from any particular zone. If you guys haven't cought on, that is why I particularly choose #208 Jack Sparrow. His sign. moves let me charge my zones faster and uncharge my opponents.

Although cycling is a great advantage, it does need to be combined with other strategies, because just the sign. attack alone won't win you much if you don't have a good balanced deck to support it with. Which is why I'm trying to get other players opinion on the deck and what I should do to make it better. :)
