Colosseum Compat Question (important)

I've been wondering since I'm interested in buying Colosseum, can G/S/C hook up to Colosseum or no, because if so that'd make it easy to transfer pokemon from GSC to R/S/E, correct? I hope it can work, please respond

I have tried to connect but it does not recognise the game and the prompt requests a GBA pokemon pack!, unfortunatly to say it cannot connect to S/G/C but there is a rumour that Nintendo will make a transfer device for the new Pokemon DS Diamond and Pearl to transfer from S/G/C which would be great.Jan

Still get the game its a good game and the multiplayer battles are more enjoyable on full screen IMO.Jan

Oh yea, I'm going to either way, this one or Gale of Darkness, but I just wanted to know since if it could I would have boughten a GC from my friend or somewhere early so I could use it and get my good pokemon from GSC ro Emerald.

Sigh, it’s always the way. Nintendo accessories and release lots of peripherals and that’s how they make their money. Keeping the transfer of pokemon waiting for so long is no excuse.

When Nintendo converted from Johto into Hoenn, G/S/C to R/S, they changed the amount of IV's. I believe it was something like 16 at first, and moved up to 32. Becuase of that, the games cannot be linked together because it would all go haywire. They might come up with a way to convert the old IV's into the new system, but I don't really know the technology involved for something like that.
