Just wondering in order to obtain the pokemon Ho-Oh you are required to fully purify all of the shadow pokemon in the whole game.

Purification is done by battling opponents and using Shadow attacks to cause your pokemon to go into Hyper Mode, Is there a quicker method of purifying the shadow pokemon?

I know about the Time Flutes but there limited to three uses, I have caught 48 Shadow pokemon and currently purified 25 of them. Please tell me your strategy if you think its quicker and easier.

I think there are at least 3 other means of purification. There might be others though.

1. Keeping the Pokemon in your party - takes the least work, but will also take the longest, I believe.

2. Leave the Pokemon in Day Care - same problem as walking.

3. Colognes - using Colognes takes very little time if you have lots of them, but buying that many of them will suck your wallet dry.

Keep in mind that certain Pokemon respond to certain methods of purification better. I'm not sure exactly what determines the preference, but I think it might be nature.

I recommend checking Serebii.net or GameFAQs.com for more info. Those people most likely know (and remember) more than I do.

Thanks for the info, I think I will stick with shadow blasting my oppenents until the pokemon are in Hyper Mode and then calling them.

The hardest pokemon to purify is Tyranitare and Skarmory, it took me a long time to purify them.Jan

I used the Time Flutes on the 3 Highest Level Shadow Pokemon. Then I kept beating Mt. Battle, with about 2-3 Shadown Pokemon, and then 3-4 Normal ones, and went up pretty high. Then you purify Pokemon, and get the coupons.

Also, to get Ho-Oh you must complete the Mt. Battle Challenge. (Not Story Mode.)
