It really depends on your liking. For me, Anime just barely beats out Manga. Only becuase I can read manga so quickly and it always finishes too quick. Though it is cheaper.
I really wish they'd lower the price of manga, either that or put more in a volume.

I don't mind either actually. Both keep me entertained and happy. I'll decide this with a coin flip. *coin flip* *Coin lands on its side* Ok thats a bad sign I can see that. I guess my decision will be left undecided.

Manga. Its more detailed and feels more real to me. Besides, I have more Manga choices than Anime, which is expensive as hell.
Hey, Shiro. do you know how to get the Wind Scroll, because I can't find it. PM me please.

I think I am more of a manga fan. I just like seeing the original story and the original artwork of the artist. Of course the voice actors and music is a perk of anime.

If we're talkin Naruto? Anime, hands down. :D seriously though. I like anime better. It's the same basic story, only not in black and white and the images are animated. Since my fav genre is acion and fantasy. It's better to actually see moving images of the battles and what not, in living color.

i like manga cuz it's actually what the creator drew..ya know it's the real stuff..but i like anime on the other hand cuz stories seem to be more complex that way...and that is always a good thing

Manga, actual reading seems to be a lost art on the average Otaku twit.

both actually.
i love animation, i love to see the fluidity of it. hell ive even watch absolutely crap shows just for the animation.
but when i want the real story i go for manga. its almost always more indepth and detailed than anime.

Anime. Probably because I'd rather just hear and see what's going then read it all, unless it's subbed..
Err.. So I guess it can be either..

Manga, recently. Though I like anime as well because it gives a little more character to the cast, especially through the voices. That, and anime has music. But manga is where the good stuff starts. ^_^

Anime. Anime can be much more vivid and enjoyable mainly because of one thing. Sound. Manga provides no actual sound other then the noises spelled out in text. Anime gives you distinct sounding voices to identify each character mood and what type of person they are.
example: In the cowboy bebop manga Spike is still cool but in the anime you feel something diffrent about him mainly due to the terrific voice acting that is provided for him. Kudos to you Steve Blum.

Very nasty tie, but in a life or death situation....anime, simply because you can SEE the characters flow (but manga is almost always more gratifying)

I understand that some mangas are better as an anime, in my opinion Naruto, and DBZ. All the mind blowing action is perfect for the form of anime, but manga wise, so many others show the story well. In my opinion, once again, shows like Inuyasha, Ruroni Kenshin, and Love Hina, are much better represented in the manga. In anime/manga I look for more story than action, but I do find action a fun retreat some times. Mangas, dont get me wrong, are as good as anime. Although, mangas are cheaper, and express the story more. Animes, do show character personalities and action, alot better...So really: Anime, for if you want some story, and a lot of action and faster character devolpment. Manga, if you want in depth story, slower character devolpment. So in conclusion, They're both great! So as long as your an Otaku, just like them both. :p

I would prefer Anime just slightly over Manga because the only advantage Anime has is that you can see and hear the character.Thats about the only advantage Anime has over Manga.

)-- I've only read a tiny bit of Naruto in SJ and I really don't what the heck it's about, but I have almost half of the db/z series in Japanese and I must say that I think it is MUCH better than the anime.
Well there Is always the exception to the rule. And that may be It...Buts all just opinion,Now whos to say wich opinion is better? No one...But the wiser opinions sure are held higher.
