Metagross or Salamence?

I only have on EQ TM so I can only choose one pokemon. So far, the best I've seen is Salamence and Metagross...

Earthquake works better on a Salamence used as a physical sweeper.

i gave it to metagross....but...salamence would be a beteer choice....with the dragon dancee and all

Another thing to consider is you can breed EQ onto a bunch more pokemon, but only if the species is able to have eggs. That's why many experienced trainers use their TMs on Male pokemon whenever possible. It is the Male that passes on TM moves to the offspring.

Metagross has an egg group of "none". But Salamence can breed with any pokemon in the "Dragon" egg group. So if you give a male Salamence EQ you at least have the possibility of teaching it to some other pokemon thru breeding.
