I saw some people at a local shop play the game, and I want to get into it, too, because I think Rock Lee just kicks major arse. I'm hesitant, though, because they said that packs are over $4, so it seems like it might be pretty expensive getting started. Also, if not many people have the cards, then the singles might cost a lot, too. So...
Is the game cheaper than I'm thinking it is?
Is it fun?
Will Rock Lee have a strong deck type in the near future of the game?

My deck is based on Rock Lee, Leaf Whirlwind and Leaf Hurricane are very powerful Jutsu cards as it stands...

You wanna do something with Rock Lee, buy some boosters and a Naruto (Character Naruto) Starter deck for the Rock Lee and Guy sensei(!)

I saw 2 different kinds of the Naruto Starter, which one should I get? (What's the appearance of the box?)

And what about the prices of the game? What's the range usually around?

Also, can anybody identify this box:

It says it's a box of the Path to Hokage starters, but I want to make sure.

Depends on what sideboard cards you want:

Open vest art Naruto starter (Two of each card) -
Crystal Ball Jutsu (Fire Jutsu)
Shadow Possession Jutsu (Earth Jutsu)
Expansion Jutsu (Earth Jutsu)
A Kind Teacher (Lightning Mission)
Mission of Capturing the Missing Pet "Tora" (Fire Mission)

Naruto with Kunai art starter (Two of each card) -
Haku (Water Ninja 1/1 H 1/0 I No cost)
Water Clone Jutsu (Water Jutsu)
Escape Jutsu (Earth Jutsu)
Bingo Book (Water Mission)
Coward (Fire Mission)

Those are the difference, I personally like the first one (it has Shadow Possession, and Shikamaru rocks).

Yeah, I'll probably go for the first one because of A Kind Teacher as well since I'll probably be needing some Lightning cards. Thanks!

Each Naruto Starter has 1 Rock Lee and 1 Might Guy.

The Blue Sasuke box has two Neji (Formidable Gift) in it, which would also help a Rock Lee based deck since you'll need more Taijutsu users than just Guy and Lee.

Other than that, you'll need to use some booster packs to get Leaf Whirlwind and Leaf Hurricane, as they are a must to use Rock Lee.

I'm probably going to get the boosters anyways because the Starter Rock Lee looks inferior to the booster version from what I can tell.

The Lee from the Boosters, while it has 0/0 healthy, and -1/0 Injured, his effect states that when he is sent out to battle, at the end of the turn, he gets a +1/0

Can anyone tell me if that effect is cumulitive?

And also... Can that lee use Jutsus, as it's not specified like the other lee?

Well... I perfer No Talent as it takes a bit less work to keep him alive.

Yes Genious of Efforts is Cumulative.
Yes Genious of Efforts can use Jutsus.
