Testing the waters: My first deck

This is my first build of a Naruto deck. From what I've read/understand in the manual, this is something I've came up with. I didn't buy any boosters, as all I got was 2 starter decks (testing to see if this is something I can get into). If it IS something I can get into, then perhaps I'll add more to it later on.


Also, I had a question that I wanted to ask: Say for example you place a card into the Chakra area, to "charge" a certain card. Does the placed card return to the hand (the one that's being moved from the hand), or does it just stay in place until use for later on?

Another question I want to ask is, when a ninja is in injured status, is it able to attack/be used for support?

When you Charge Chakra (or play a Mission or Jutsu), it stays in the Chakra zone till used.

Injured Ninjas may still be used in combat, they just use the second stat list (which are USUALLY Weaker...).

First off, consolodate types used. I would suggest making this a Water/Fire with a splash of Lightning/Earth ninjas. I've marked the cards that really don't belong here, and suggest replacing them. You don't need three Cho or Shika, and you lack a good number of Winds to use Left Behind (since you gotta discard your other Left Behind to use it, as that's your only Wind). Anything with a discard cost requires a discard of the same symbol, keep that in mind while building your deck.

So far, here's my ratios for each type (element wise):

I was thinking of using Asuma Sarutobi as a good game starter, but I'm kinda partial to his effect. I'm thinking of making this mostly a 3 element deck consisting of just Fire, Water, and some Lightning, but I'm not sure on it yet.


What else can you reccomend for this kind of deck?

The Konohamaru for Open your Eyes is a good idea.

Don't bother with Tree Climbing Jutsu, ever.

You can probably drop a Kunai for a Crossed Shape without any damage to the deck.

And I'd suggest dropping an 8 Tri and a Sexy Jutsu for a pair of Guillotine Sword.
