I will only be writing sets for Pokemon I consider worth using. Here goes:
#3 Sceptile (By popular request.)
Special Sweeper:
Sceptile@Shell Bell/Lum Berry
<Modest/Timid>
Leaf Blade
Dragon Claw
Crunch
HP Fire
63 S.Atk, 63 Spd, 1 HP.
#6 Blaziken
Overheater/Physical Sweeper:
Blaziken@Brightpowder // Leftovers
<Adamant>
Brick Break
Earthquake
HP Rock
Overheat/Focus Punch // Bulk Up
63 Atk, 63 Spd, 1 S.Atk.
Use 3 Physical plus Overheat/FP or Bulk Up for more power.
Mixed Attacker:
Blaziken@Leftovers/?
<Neutral>
Bulk Up
Earthquake
HP Rock
Overheat
63 Atk, 63 Spd, 1 S.Atk. I don't know about this one, it might not be good.
Opinions, please ?
Endure+Reversal: I'm just including this for people with AR.
Blaziken@Salac Berry
<Hasty/Naive, your choice.>
Endure
Reversal
HP Rock
Flamethrower
63 Atk, 63 Spd, 1 S.Atk again.A little slower than Heracross. F-thrower for Skarmory/Weezing.
#9 Swampert
Toxic-Shuffler/Protector
Swampert@Leftovers
<Adamant/Impish/Careful>
Earthquake
HP Rock
Toxic
Roar/Protect
63 Atk, 63 HP, 1 S.Def/Def.
Physical Sweeper:
Swampert@Leftovers/Chesto Berry
<Adamant/Careful>
Curse
Earthquake
HP Rock
Refresh/Rest
63 HP, 129 Def, +129 S.Def/129 Atk.
Mirror Coater:
Swampert@Chesto Berry

Belly Drummer:
Linoone@Leftovers/Shell Bell ?
<Adamant/Impish ?/Careful ?>
Belly Drum
Return
Shadow Ball
Protect/HP Fighting
63 Spd, 63 HP, 1 Atk.

Sunnybeamer:
Ludicolo@Lum Berry

Solar Beam
Synthesis
HP Fire
63 S.Atk, 63 Def, 1 HP/S.Def. I invented this according to me. No Fire weakness is good.
#31 Gardevoir
Special Sweeper/Tank:
Gardevoir@Leftovers/ Lum\Chesto Berry
<Modest/Bold/Timid> [Synchronize]
Will o' Wisp
Calm Mind
Psychic
Rest/Thunderbolt/ HP Water ?\Ice ?\Fire ?
63 S.Atk, 63 Def, 1 Spd/HP/S.Def. Most people use Thunderbolt, but there are
several Pokemon hat resist both of those. Same goes for HP Whatever, but they're different, so it's basically pick a Type.
#38 Slaking
Choice Bander:
Slaking@Choice Band, duh.
<Adamant>
Return/Hyper Beam
Earthquake
Shadow Ball
Brick Break
63 Atk, 63 Spd, 1 S.Def/HP. An old standard.

Fire\Ice\Thunderpunch/HP Dark
63 S.Atk, 63 Spd, 1 Def/HP. Pick 2 moves for the last slots.
#43 Ninjask
Baton Passer:
Ninjask@Leftovers
<Impish//Careful>
Protect
Swords Dance
Baton Pass
Silver Wind/Aerial Ace
63 HP, 63 Def//S.Def, 1 Spd. Whichever defense you pick to raise, don't let him get hit by the other.
Gotta go, but I'll edit in more. If enough people say a Pokemon is worth using, I'll add it.

For Swampert, I use:
Swampert@Chesto
-Rest
-Mirror Coat
-Ice Beam
-Earthquake
The EVs are a little complicated. He needs maxed HP, enough special attack to OHKO Salamence with Ice Beam, and enough special defense to surv in attack.
I built this moveset primarily for an element of suprise. With all those Cursing Swamperts running around, no one will expect Mirror Coat. And Ice Beam (or any other special attack, for that matter) is rarely used, so he can kill Salamence. And he has good sweeping ability with Earthquake. I think Houndooms Revenge used a simular set.

Add this Swampert set,
Swampert@Leftovers
Brave
252 HP, 129 sp.def, 129 atk
Rest
HP:Rock(since Rock Slide is unavailable in R/S)
Earthquake
Curse
I'll help you with this guide if you want the help.
You mean Adamant nature, right ? No Special attacks.
As for help, I need whatever I can gt. Thanks.

for Blaziken, Adamant will still have enough SpAtk to OHKO Metagross/Skar with Overheat... Focus Punch should be an option for Overheat, not Brick Break... Brick Break is his best attack... Overheat and Focus Punch are more Extras... how is the 2nd any different? White Herb isnt a good item, since most teams have only 1 Steel, if any, and if OH needs 2 hits, even with 50% power, it should be strong enough for the 2HKO... the third isnt 200, since Salac is 386... without Salac, the set doesnt work...
Kuiper

Salac came before PC, so at one point for a few days it was 201 play and legal Salac. But then again, that was 201 play, not 200. And about the "?" on the Flamethrower for that set, it's because at 1 HP, Blaze kicks in upping his Fire attacks, combine that with STAB, and you've got a highly powered special attack.
Cursing Swampert should have maxed special defense and HP.
Is Extremespeed Linoone 200? Because that's the only thing that really makes it usable.
The annoyer Ludicolo set should have Double Team as an alternate for Protect/Rest, and Dive should be over Ice Beam.

Linoone gets Extremespeed from Pokemon Box.
Kuiper
05-11-2004, 04:07 PM
Yes, I know that, I don't know if it's considered 200 though. Pokemon box never came out in the states, though it was possible to transfer the Zigzagoon/Ralts from Pokemon box to Japanese RS and from Japanese RS to English RS.
Sceptile is a good special sweeper, simular to Alakazam (sacrificing special attack for the ability to possibly survive an attack).
Sceptile@Scope Lens
-Leaf Blade
-Crunch
-Dragon Claw
-HP:water/Pursuit/Quick attack
Tmid, 252 speed, 252 special attack, 6 HP

Josh, YOU DIDNT INVENT THAT LUDICOLO SET!!!

Hmmm... I never saw it anywhere, but I put it up in my 'Why doesn't anyone use Synthesis on Ludicolo ?' topic on the old board. Obviously, that was before your Moveset Guide on the new board. I'd tell you to look there, but everything on the old board's been deleted. Perhaps I wasn't the first one on the planet to think of it, but I definitely invented it for myself. If it makes you happy, I'll change that statement, but I do not believe I am plagiarizing. I repeat, I didn't get it from anyone else.
Fallen Ronin: OOPS. Sorry about the Salac mistake. I'll make a note by that set, and by Heracross's when I get to it. As for Extremespeed Linoone, I think it's still fast enough by itself to work with Return. I didn't know Box never came out here.
P.S. If 2 more people support Sceptile, I'll add it.
Everyone: I decided to center the whole thing, like Ness's guide, only the EVs are right there and different between sets, and no pictures. Maybe I'll add the pictures after I'm done all the sets.

Equal rights for Pokemon!!! (except loser pokemon like Dustox)

P.S. If 2 more people support Sceptile, I'll add it.
Perhaps people are not supporting Sceptile because he's so good. Do I support Alakazam? No. I loathe Alakazam. But I loathe him because of... obvious reasons.
Maybe I'll add the pictures after I'm done all the sets.
Sadly, you can't do this. They disabled the IMG tab. Look:

*Sobs*
If enough people say a Pokemon is worth using, I'll add it.
I say Metagross is worth using. I say Zangoose, Gyrados, Kingdra, and Weezing are worth using. So is Salamence.
In conclusion, Sceptile>Linoone.

why do you have Linoone, but no Sceptile???
SCEPTILE >>>>>>> LINOONE!!!!!
Linoone is only good in 386... and your guide is R/S only (aka - 200)...
TyranitarsShadow
05-14-2004, 10:13 PM
Give Zangoose this set,
Zangoose@Liechi/Lum
Jolly/Adamant
252 atk, 252 spd, 6 HP
Swords Dance
Quick Attack
Return
Shadow Ball
Total standard, but it mises like no ones buissness if set up properly.
TyranitarsShadow

Consider adding Encore to Slaking, as it <pojo_ownz><pojo_ownz><pojo_ownz><pojo_ownz>s annoying as hell protecters that would usually screw him.

For Swampert, if he has maxed HP and a nature not affecting special defense, he needs 48 EVs in special defense to survive a non-critical hit Leaf Blade. Also, if Swampert doesn't have a special attack hindering nature, he needs 40 special attack EVs to OHKO Salamence with Ice Beam.

Didn't I say I'm already taking care of this, half of those sets arent even good/up to date. They call me the moveset master, let ME handle it.

Hmmm, didn't I see you asking for a Swampert moveset last week ? And which sets aren't good ? Mention them by name, please.
Scizandor: NOT Shiftry or Manectric.
T-tar's Shadow: You lose the power of Choice Band with Encore.
Okay, I'll add Sceptile. Linoone has the Speed to be good even without Extremespeed.
Absol
05-17-2004, 01:48 PM
not really... it's only in the high 200's or low 300's... a fast pokemon is about 360+...
Cooltrainer Josh
05-17-2004, 01:54 PM
For 360, with a boosting Nature you'd need a Base Stat of 115. So, only 115/higher is fast ? Without a boosting Nature you'd need 131 BS. How many have higher than 130 ?
Absol
05-17-2004, 02:02 PM
yep pretty much you need to have high 300's for decent speed...
there are quite a few with 130, but for more than 130, I think the only 2 are Ninjask and Deoxys, who have 160 and 150, respectively...

What's the use of this thread? We already have a moveset referrer. I am just wondering if you wish to continue with this thread when eventually it'll end up on the 26th page.. Just curious, not starting anything or anything..

Well, that one's not extremely good. Why do you think Absol is posting here instead of changing his ?
Kuiper
05-17-2004, 05:38 PM
Actually, Ninjask's base speed is 152, I believe.
Gamefreak requested a critique on a set he had made, not for a set.
Salac is not 200 legal. It would be legal in 201 though. This is because when only 200 Pokemn were available, Salac wasn't obtainable. And when it was, there were 201 monsters available. And BTW, 200 is becoming obsolete.
Absol
05-17-2004, 07:53 PM
I did forget Electrode... meh, it stinks... Ninjask is 160, but the base stats guide on gamefaqs says 152... but they are also wrong on a few other things...
I will redo the guide if 2 more people ask... also, you dont have very good sets...

Alright, then please continue with this thread. Finish all the ideal movesets because it's a pain for me to get good example sets without needing to refer to topics and Absol's guide. So please, continue with this thread and I'll get a moderator to transfer the sticky. If you haven't already forgetten about this... Let me know.
