timid is better than jolly, cuz you would want to lower attack, since in confusion, you use your own ph.attack vs your own ph.defense... just a thought.

I'm gonna try and make another OHKO team with Furret as the Assistant and

Realistically, I don't expect to get all 4 but I'm gonna try to get at least 2 and have myself some more fun like I did with Delcatty and Walrein LOL. The hard part is trying to figure out who to fight in Colosseum to get the darn moves. Gligar for Guillotine and Walrein for Sheer cold I think. I'll have to check and see but I remember fighting both of them and they had the OHKO moves. It'll probably take me like a gazillion tries before my Smeragle gets them. Guess I'll just have to save each time before trying.

I was looking at some of these sets, plus I had the chance to battle against the 1 hit KO Smeargle in Coloseum. If used right Smeargle could pretty good... So I was wondering is he as good as he looks right now?

Smeargle has suck stats. I remember training one in GSC and no matter what I did it still was not very good. It's speed is its best stat, and that's only average, according to the guide.

But that doesn't mean Smeragle's useless. Being able to learn ANY moves in the game makes it worth a look. I've seen the Spore/Attack type movesets before and that might be fun to play with.

But I'm really hoping that Smeargle will make a great OHKO pokemon when using an Assistant to grab his moves (while he is out of harms way). In fact I'm starting to think about my new OHKO team now in will try this out. (If you are not familiar with the Assistant/OHKO idea, just look it up on the Help Thread.)

The best way to sketch the moves you want is to get a second game pak and have ONLY a Pokemon that knows ONLY that move (and is at a low enough level that it won't OHKO Smeargle with that move) and swap records with that game pak. Then go to wherever your Secret Base was on that game pak, battle yourself, stall a turn so it can use its move, and then switch in Smeargle and use sketch.

Some moves are NEVER used by in-game opponents, like Heal Bell, so you have to do this.

Because if your opponent knows ANYTHING about Smeargle, they'll switch after the Mind Reader/Lock-on.

Fallen Ronin; Not sure if you were responding to my earlier comment about 'realistically' not being able to get all 4 OHKO moves, but I figured out an easy way to do it (I already have three of them on my Smeargle and the fourth will be no problem).
