Can someone please tell me why I see/hear alot of people saying this move is good? I mean, it only has 20 power... Whereas other moves such as Ice Beam and Thunder Bolt (boltbeamer anyone?) have ALOT more power than it does....

So yeah, can anyone help me understand this?

Yeah Rapid Spin Blows Away Those Annoying Spikes And Releases The User From Continous Moves Like Whirlpool And Wrap.

Rapid Spin clears the field of Spikes, and frees the user from Bind, Wrap, Leech Seed, Whirlpool and Fire Spin. It's mainly just a utility move, it's not meant to do significant damage.
