Is it me or are they harder in Emerald than Ruby/Sapphire? I don't know since I played Sapphire and forgot how hard they were. I honestly can't beat the first guy without having all but 2 Pokemon die. I'm level 45-47. Currently I'm training in the Victory Road. I'm just using these guys since I used them for the whole game. This isn't my final team I wanna train. I was wondering If you think I would be able to beat them if I buy a lot of Revives and Full Restores? Note that I have the HM moves cause I was too lazy to go to computers to get the Pokemon just to use the HM. Please try not to Spoil what happens after you beat them. Thanks. Here's my Team:
Lv45 Sceptile-Gecko
Miracle Seed
-Leaf Blade
-Absorb
-Slam
-Fury Cutter
Lv46 Tentacruel-Poison
Mystic Water
-Poison Sting
-Acid
-Surf
-Blizzard
Lv46 Azumarril-Aurora
Quick Claw
-Waterfall
-Dive
-Double-Edge
-Ran Dance
Lv46 Linoone-Bandit
-Rock Smash
-Strength
-Cut
-Covet
Lv46 Mightyena-Rex
Darkglasses
-Bite
-Swagger
-Take Down
-Hyper Beam
Lv47 Gardevoir-Psy
-Psychic
-Confusion
-Calm Mind
-Flash

Yes they are. Train your team up to atleast level 50. Maybe a better fighting move than rock smash to take down the darks. A powerful electric move to take down water types, and You'll definately need a better Ice move than blizzard to get rid of the dragons.
Look up which member uses which type. Then throw out your first pokemon accordingly.
I'd also reccomend something other than Mightyena. Perhaps Absol?
In my experience HM moves aren't a good idea for your main team. I think it's gonna put you are a serious disadvantage. Laziness is never a good thing in games, those moves are seriously underpowered if you ask me.

Yeah I know, but I hate bringing a level 10 abra with me just because it had the move flash. And strength was better than headbut so I did that. I like Mightyena and was thinking of using him for my final team hence why he has no Hm. Is Ice Beam at the Game Corner?

yes ice beam is at the game corner.
I'd go with Duzell's advice, but to add on to it, I wouldn't go with double stabs of the same type(ex: Gardevoir, knows psycic, and confusion) and give them a greatter variety.
also, u should have a great variety of types(u have azumaril and tentacruel are both water types)
In addition, just b/c ur guys have been with u the whole time, doesn't neccisarily(sp?) mean u should use them for da e4. In my ruby, I had gotten to the e4, then decided to train a pikachu and a bagon from scratch(meaning I caught them after victory raod), because I needed those types.
Honestly though, if u want to use those guys, catch another linnon, give THAT one the hm's and give ur's some better moves

yeah the harder the better. but just train your pokemon and it will be no problem to you.

Well Linoone really doesn't have any better moves. Course I missed Slash :(. I was thinking of dumping Azumarril for Magneton, but I don't know if Magnemite can have a baby. Is it possible for him to have one?
