It's just a Pokemon Emerald game. Why are you asking if it's fake or real? Of course it's real. Heck, this forum even has Emerald in the title.

Well how is it different? Just saying it's different so this one must be fake is very vague. Is it because one box is shiny and one is not or something?

That looks like a product stock picture. As in, it's not a picture of the actual box. So naturally it's not going to have the characteristics that the actual box has.

The one you saw on ebay was real and the one on game play is a stock pic.
