Some questions about Emerald

OK here's some questions I have:

1) Can you copy items in this game like gold/silver/crystal?
2) Can a pikachu in the Safari Zone have a light ball?
3) How exactly can Pikachu learn Volt Tackle?
4) Is it possible to get these two in this game? (Growlithe, Houndour)

1.) No, but mystery gift might help. Go to pokemart, on the table, you can see a little paper thing. Go in front of it and press "A". Then type "Link Together with all" to get Mystery gift on the title screen.
2.) Yes, good item for pikachu.
3.) ah yes, Volt Tackle, I have no idea????
4.) I say the easiet is to trade.

Ok but I thought you can't trade R/S/E with S/G/C/R/B/Y. So who do you trade with?

As for the light ball, I'm glad to hear it. Now I got to catch me a mess of rats :(.

For Volt Tackle you do this:

1) Catch a male and female pikachu, 1 having light ball
2) Put them in the daycare center, 1 holding the light ball
3) the resulting Pichu will hatch with Volt Tackle

You can catch Houndour in the safari zone after you beat the E4, I dont know if u can get Growlithe in the game

You can't get growlithe in the game. You need Fire Red for that I believe.

Ok but I thought you can't trade R/S/E with S/G/C/R/B/Y. So who do you trade with? You trade with FireRed/LeafGreen.

As for the light ball, I'm glad to hear it. Now I got to catch me a mess of rats :(. That's more difficult than it sounds. Pikachu has a 4% encounter rate in the Safari Zone, and it's only holding a Light Ball at about the same rate, so be prepared for a long excursion.

Thanks everyone. Well guess I better start the hunt for the light ball. Man I hope I get lucky and catch one with it fast.

Get a pokemon with the Static ability. You will have an easier time of finding the elusive electric mouse.

How often you find it WITH a light ball usually differs between game paks, but is still rare. I caught 6 pikachu in one Safari Game and only found one with a Light Ball.
