Hey guys, I have just reached the Battle Frontier and I'm sorta having trouble beating the Frontier Brains.:confused:

Can someone give me advice?

Also can someone tell me which pkmn team can help me out?

tyiranitar could help with tucer suicuno and any dragon would be good for him.

On the Help Thread there is a whole section devoted to answering questions about the Battle Frontier. This includes advice and team examples. Look on Page One, post #2. I think you'll find it helpful. While you are there you may also want to take a look at the Table of Contents to see if there are any other things there that may be helpful to you.

which one do you like better? well, i like both and they are both very powerful. it is a hard decision. i choose dragonite because it looks cool.
Also tyranitar because of its power, its good against a lot of types.

this might sound stupid, but i'm having trouble finding a ralts.
Can someone help me. i know its on route 102.

You have to be patient really for they show up every now and then. Try not running because (IMO) they have a better tendency to show up, as retarded as that sounds lol

If you go with Tyranitar, it would be best if your team can deal with its Sandstream ability because it may hurt you more than it can help you.

As for Dragonite, he is very cool I like him as much as I like Salamence (they both have their ups and downs), but Dragonite has the honor of being the only Boltbeam Dragon in the game. Figure out the way you want to take Dragonite and have fun with him.

I try for a little bit, thanks for your help. If i can't get a ralts, then i'll just try for abra, its just as good.

Abra would probably be harder to catch, considering it only knows Teleport.

On both versions (except Emerald), i've found about 10-15 pokemon before finding Ralts. It takes awihle, but you'll find one

Latias/Latios/Rayquaza all can boltbeam.


My personal preferance is T-Tar. Despite his huge amounts of weaknesses- he is just dominates-when used properly.

Has anyone recived any of the symbols. I have offically lost against Lucy like 25 times. I just can't beat her. every time i'm about to get to her some dude always has to put all my pokemon to sleep/poison/frozen:mad: !!!!! and it's extremely hard to get to Brandon. and when I reached the top of the pyramid.... he murderd me!!!

Im just curious if anyone has actually beat them.:rolleyes:

tyranitars good in all but i think that you should make your own team. but i just finished posting in your emerald team and i think that they could do a good job in the battle frontier.

I have the 7 silver symbols. Not too hard to do with a little effort and thought. How it was done is described, in detail, in the Emerald battle frontier section of the Help Thread. Maybe you or someone else here will find that helpful.

Getting Gold--any gold--- is another matter. My theory is that you have the best chance to get Gold in your earliest challenge. In subsequent challenges, the AI makes it basically harder and harder to win Gold---or even to get to the Gold match.

Meh. I guess I should be happy I got the silvers.
