why dont they show up on my poke dex?

why when i traded my raikou,entie,and suicune to my ruby version they did not show up on the poke dex?And just how do you get all the pokemon in the game like charmander,squirtle,bulbasaur,chansey,ect.

You need to get the national dex. In order to get it, you must trade with FR/LG. And to get all pokes, you must trade with FR/LG or get an AR.

TyranitarsShadow's right. I had ARed some Pokemon on the Ruby and found out I had the Inter/national dex much later.
