Needing Help on Team

-Sky Uppercut

Ludicolo - Lv. 50
-Surf
-Giga Drain
-Secret Power/Return/Ice Beam/Filler
-Rain Dance
*I know this makes 2 Water Types, but I can't think of a better Grass type...maybe Vileplume?

Skarmory - Lv. 50
-Drill Peak
-Steel Wing
-Spikes/Toxic
-Roar/Filler

Gardevoir - Lv. 50
-Psychic
-Thunder Bolt
-Thunder Wave (If it can learn it, lacking a few points to be sure)
-Calm Mind

Absol - Lv. 50
-Shadow Ball
-Aerial Ace
-Filler
-Sword Dance

Like I said, any help on improving my team would be helpful. Suggestions on alternative pokemon, if needed, is appreciated.

Ludicolo is decent, but Bellosom > Vileplume. Absol might need bight as his 4th move.

If I do add a Special Attack to Absol than Bite wouldnt be the one for I already have Shadow Ball and having bite would be redundant. What Special Attack should I add to Absol if any? Thunderbolt or Ice Beam or what?

How is Bellosom better than Vileplume? They both have their uses and what would be a prefered Moveset for it?

Bellossom is better for a few reasons

1- Not poison, so no weakness from psy and it makes ground not very effective
2- at higher levels, Bellossom learns Solarbeam, but Vileplume doesn't
3- Bellossom has higher Sp. Def, I think. Bell also can learn Safeguard through TM's, while Vile can't

For Ludicolo, I would go w/ Ice Beam over the other 2.
For Skarmory: Does Spikes work in combination with Roar? If it does, I would use those 2. If it doesn't, I would go with Toxic>Spikes and replace Roar with something else... not sure what since It doesn't learn much of a variety of TMs. You could do like I did, and give it Rock Smash :-\
For Gardevoir: As far as I know it doesn't learn Thunder Wave. I don't see anything better to use though.
For Absol: Maybe Flamethrower? Not sure what they use in Battle Tower, I haven't beaten Elite 4/5 yet.

I see what you mean about Bellosom, thx for the help because I was always one to go with Vileplume.

Spikes does work in Tandem with Roar. Lay down 3 layers of Spikes (It's the max and most effective) than you use Roar to force a sub. As long as the pokemon isnt flying or has Levitate than they will lose 1/4 of their HP on the switch, it is very effective. Also, Rapid Spin will get rid of all the layers, but Rapid Spin isnt that common.

Gardevoir can learn TWave because I just taught it to her last night ;). Seeing that it only has 2 Attacks, do you think it would be good to use a PPMax on Psychic to make it have 16 PP instead of 10?

As for Absol...well...Flamethrower could work. I already covered its weakness to Fighting and Bug with Aerial Ace so...I need a filler and I dont want Baton Pass unless I truly need it.

Flamethrower was pretty much personal preference, I prefer it over Thunderbolt and Icebeam. You can use whichever, none of them cover any weaknesses (except Flame against Bug, but Aerial Ace does that).

How does it learn Thunder Wave? Is that a TM? I don't see it being able to learn it in my guidebook...
Then again, if this is Emerald, that may be why. My book is only R/S.

Yea, it is only Emerald, I believe.

I will experiment with Absol on the final move and see what I can come up with.
