trainers eyes question

Hey I need a little help. See, I've gotten 4 out of the 8 gym badges and for some reason no one wants to rematch me. The little red/white box in the trainer's eyes pokénav section isn't there on anybody. Could there be something wrong with my game? If so could you suggest why no one wants to rematch me...kinda need em at this point... lol. thanks!

what i do is i ride in between the routes really fast on the mach bike of the ppl i want to fight and in like 30s, i get my battle... (i.e.: to refight triathelete dylan, i ride really fast between between rt 117 and mauville). btw, when i say really fast, i mean just on the divider between the two areas.
