I have a pretty decent group of level 100s I am using for Emerald Battle Frontier. I have all the Silver Emblems and None of the Gold. I'd like to know what I should Do.
Up til now Ive been using, Articuno, Latias, Latios. That was my three man team. But the game has seemed to pick up on my weaknesses, so what do you think I should use? I won't type out the List of Pokemon I have, I just want to know what people think I should use. No I do not cheat, and I will not cheat. I don't use moves Like Recover, because my favorite place is the Guts place. Thats the Gold Emblem I'm working on right now.
So, ANy Suggestions?

Well, I am not an expert but your team would get pwned with a pokemon with ice beam and thunderbolt. I suggest taking out one of the Lati@s and giving the other one a Soul Dew. Then replace the one you took out with something that isnt weak to ice or electricity. Slap on a moveset from smogon.net and your good to go

I'm in the same boat as you (all silver, no gold, and I don't cheat).
I have two suggestions; first, rotate to try and confuse the AI. The Emerald AI is a lot smarter and quicker at countering our teams than in any previous version. I still believe if we don't win in an early challenge we might as well restart the cart. I know that's radical but that's what I think. Anyway, rotating should be easy given you have a 'decent' number of LV 100 pokemon to choose from. Can't hurt. Pick from strong flexible sweepers if you are challenging the Arena (guts).
Second, if you haven't already, you may want to glance at the Help Thread's Emerald post (post #2) and go to the Battle Frontier section. Even if you find one thing in there that is helpful, it will have been worth the few minutes you spent.
Good Luck, Rain Storm, I hope you get some other helpful suggestions, and I hope you nail Gold. It will take skill, patience and luck. Go for it.

This is the first I've heard on the AI actually...man i am not in the loop. The problem with me, is that I really like Dragons, and Psychic Pokemon. I have 2 Metagrosses, Gardevoir, Alakazam, Dragonite, Salamance, Latio, Latia, And then I have some other basics like Vaporeon and Charizard. My Milotic is pretty good. I also have a Level 100 Shedinja!!! Pain in the butt to raise, but its well worth the effort. I am going to raise a Sable Eye to 100, and Use a third pokemon with Skill Swap, and Move Shedinja's Skill over to Sable Eye, during battles with my friends. Long process, but powerful.
Thanks Altaria, nice to know somebody cares
And Dark Magic Attack: I don't ave Mind Dew, because I haven't gone to a Pokemon Event and I don't cheat. Yeah, I saw what My weaknesses are, but you are talking about a guy who likes using Sneasel and Beat Up attack. I go with my Faborite pokemon, rather than the super power ones. Thanks for the reply pal.

Obtaining both Latios and Latias will get you the Soul Dew, since the one on Southern Island is holding it.

nice try, but it won't work. Wonder Guard can't be swapped or role played.

Why Not? Is it because they dont hit Shedinja?

It's an effect of the ability. Wonder Guard can't be Skill Swapped or Role Played because that's an effect of Wonder Guard. Plus, it'd make 2v2 play extremely broken, since everybody would have Skill Swap or Role Play (mostly Skill Swap since it's a TM) so they could copy or steal Wonder Guard, negating every type of attack except their weaknesses. And, as mentioned, Swapping Wonder Guard onto Sableye would be extremely broken, since Sableye has no exploitable weaknesses, unless you hit it with Foresight or Odor Sleuth, and then Baton Pass to a Pokémon with a Fighting-type move. (Or you could use Machamp, who learns Foresight and Cross Chop via level-up.)
Can Wonder Guard be Traced?

Thanks for clearing that up. Um, I havent battled a Shedinja with a Gardevoir yet,....I think i'm going to try to find out! Ofcourse, that would be hard to pull off considering they'd have to use him...lol
I think the best Skill Swap I ave seen is swapping Slaking's Ability off of him.
