to get them in ruby and sapphire and emerald, first u need colleseum for the game cube. U need to beat colleseum, so u can trade with r/s/e. In colleseum, u can get bayleef, crockanaw, and quilava. U have to trade them to r/s/e and breed them, so u can gettootodile and the other two.

If they are males when u trade them over, u need to get fire red/lg and trade a ditto over to r/s/e, after getting the network machine working in fr/lg (which requires u to beat the elite 4)

In Emerald after you complete your Houen dex (200), you get to choose one of the Johto Starters from Prof. Birch.
