Budokai 2 question

I got budokai 2 for christmas and beat in in a week. It was so boring i thought. There was no real mission. Then i realized something had to be missing and went online to figure stuff out. I watched the series and played budokai once. Still, i couldn't find the dragonballs on each level. I assumed they weren't there. I looked over the whole map but they must be like invisible. I have the game on now and figured out on my own that you have to restart to beat Nappa with Vegeta. I also found the complete list of how to unlock characters online. So the only question I need someone to answer is hOW DO i FIND THE DRAGONBALLS WHEN THEY ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY VISIBLE LEVEL 2 AND UP? ~HOpe someone can help/

There is a couple of ways.

1) Get the DragonRadar. It will tell you.
2) Every little square has an item hidden in it, so I think you hit SQUARE when standing on it and it will search the spot and pull something up. You can do that if youcant get the radar. I do it any way because it can give you money and power ups.

i always make sure to "dig" up every spot on the game board, usually u can get good capsules for doing so, i just hate it when i dig and get 100 zenny lmao
