Yes, you can keep a pokemon in the daycare even until level 100 and still get the full ev's If you did a fight at level 5, then sent im to daycare, he'd still have that 1 ev from whatever he fought.

After level 100, you have to do fights then deposit them in the PC. Daycare gives no ev's whatsoever.

Just to be be clear - the Pokemon would have the same stats after EV training is completed, and the Pokemon are at the same level.

About the Lv. 100 comment - I've heard that before, BUT, I tried it once, and it didn't work. I raised a Pokemon to Lv. 100 with no EV Training, and then tried to train it. It didn't gain anything.

So, just to be safe, I'd recommend you do all EV Training PRIOR to the Pokemon reaching Lv. 100.

Actually, it makes sense that a Pokémon didn't benefit from EV training at Level 100. Since a Pokémon only changes its stats in between level growth, the EV training at Level 100 would have been a waste...

For example, I want to leave a non-EV-trained Slowbro in the Daycare until it reaches Level 99, and then decide that I want to EV train it in SpAtk, and HP. If I obtained all 510 EVs before he leveled up (to 100), he would grow normally in all other stats except for SpAtk and HP. These two stats would each grow exponentially--actually, they would grow by about 66 or 67 each!

Thus, UberNooBer, the level you begin EV training at does not matter. Whatever Pokémon you're training (Beldum, in this case--who will evolve next level-up, incidentally) will just make up for the levels it gained in the daycare by dumping the points during the next level-up alltogether.
