1) The only way to get a Light Ball is to catch a Pikachu holding one, correct?

2) The abiliity Compound Eyes supposedly makes wild Pokemon holding items more common. Would it apply in the Safari Zone?

3) The abilities Magma Armor and Flame Body half the number of steps required to hatch an egg. If I had multiple Pokemon with one of the abilities, would the effects 'stack'. [ex: If I had 2 Camerupt, would I only need 1/4 of the normal amount of steps]

3) The Mystic/Aurora ticket can only be gotten in a Nintendo event. Can you get them at the Nintendo store in New York, or only at the Journey Across America thing?

4) In Battle Frontier, when do you get Battle Points, and how many do you get?

5) Where and how is the best place/way to train you Pokemon for the Elite Four? I know my Pokemon should be about 50-55, but I've run out of trainers.

Thanks =)

You can re-fight wally. He wants to rebattle randomly, but he does.

1. Yes.

2. I think so.

3. I'm not sure, but probably not.

4. I don't know.

5. You get them after you finish a trainer group/floor/room, and you get about 1-4 points per section depending on the facility you visit. They give progressively more points the longer your winning streak lasts, and beating a Frontier Brain earns you about 14 or so points for the section. You can get 3 points from Scott when you first visit the Frontier. The BP you get is piddly compared to the outrageous costs of the stuff they sell.

6. Train against wild Pokémon, like in Sky Pillar or Victory Road. Sure, it's a little harder and time-consuming, but if you like to battle like I do, it's both fun and rewarding.

Thanks everyone.

Now I just need to trade my Butterfree over to my Emerald, so I can find a Pika with a Lightball.

I have a light ball question too...

does it only affect pikachu, or does it also work on Raichu??

No, only pikachu. Raichu would be way over used if it did. He'd have around 600 special attack!

Okay, here goes:

1. Yes Pika must be holding one (from the Safari Zone).

2. Yes I've tried it, and it works there too (maybe coincidence, but I doubt it).

3a. No It would be insane to hatch stuff so quickly--they don't stack.

3b. No They were only available during the Journey Across America event--when I went to Nintendo World, they told me they were not affiliated with Pokémon "as much" anymore--what I think they meant was that they don't specialize in Pokémon stuff.

4. They Vary The Points vary by the type of challenge, challenge building, and the amount of previous challenges made without losing.

5. Reporters The best place, I have come to realize, is the Double-Battle with the Reporters. You should give the Pokémon you want to train either Lucky Egg or EXP Share, and Protect. The higher-level one should have Earthquake. This is the fastest way to train, and you also get a load of money.
