slippery slope trick

does the slippery slope trick with the acro bike and taping down the up button not work in emrald at all or does it just get interupted someone let me know thnx in advanced

Probably in the Help Thread by now...but yeah, in Emerald you get interrupted by the Pokenav phone. Of course, you can still do it, but must check to see if the phone has rung (rang?) every so often.

But basically, what it does is this:

When you have a Pokémon in the Day Care, it grows faster when you are moving. So, when you try to ride the Acro Bike up the slope you keep going forward and then backward, and you will never go up the slope, so you keep racking up steps, and the Pokémon in the day Care keep growing.

People can use tape or a rubber band to hold up on the D-Pad, so you will keep moving all night, and the Pokémon will keep growing.

There's no way to turn the phone off either. The only way to use Good Sir Houndoom Revenge's wonderful trainer tip is to trade from Emerald to R/S, where there is no phone to interrupt you.

ok, I always do that to hatch the egg i just didnt know what it was called. yeah it does work because I do it all the time. but I think I use the mach bike though.

Actually you can use the trick in Emerald. You need to put a slide, you know those two sided slides, and go up the wrong end. since you cant get phone calls in your base this works, or it should :p
