I have got not a clue how to rehost. I think if I can get it onto divan art or whatever I could, but I have no idea how to even do that.

And on second thought you don't need to rehost it. Just save it to your desktop, then in your avatar settings, upload it from your desktop.

In all actuality, after you host it, you can delete it from your photobucket or whatever and it'll stay there as your avy. You just won't be able to get it back if you change it unless you save it to your computer.
