I just noticed something... o.o

On Emerald I've caught 4 Shinies so far- Tentacool, Magikarp, Zigzagoon, and Electrike. I looked at their stats and saw an odd resemblance between them:

They're all boys, and they all have Hardy natures.

Does this have anything to do with the coding in the game, or is this a really, REALLY odd coincidence? o.0;

I think that Magikarp has an 87% chance of being male, but I'm not sure.

I've also noticed that when I breed, most of my Pokémon are Hardy.

Major coincedence though.

Ah coincidence, a nice one though. Alot of odd things like this seem to happen in pokemon games, but it's just a coincidence.

I was actually fishing a lot to get the Shining Magikarp. Seems like a waste of time, but I was determined. XD

It started when I found one RANDOMLY in Silver Version, in Lake of Rage. I was catching dozens of Karps for the Fishing Guru's brother to measure. (It was his brother, right? Poor memory... XD)

Once the Advanced generation came out, I was determined to find another Shining Magikarp by fishing. And finally, after over 400 hours of play (at least 5 hours a day), I found one. After finishing off most of the game, of course. XD My next goal is a Shining Relicanth. XD

Shinys tend to have neutral natures.Especially docile and hardy.and most of my shinies are boys too so maybe it is more than coinky dinks.
