As usual, I took a break from PS for about a month or two and didn't post anything here or even do anything.
I have come back...with nothing much learned, but that will change soon.
In the meantime, here's a sig I made today.

I know it could use some work...and I'll work on it later, but go ahead and say whatever.

duh, get rid of the text, and make some sort of like, energy pulsations (like the ones on the bottom left of the sig) more noticeable around the stock.

Vintage goober.
Blend it a little more I suppose.

Good idea.
Blayze: HAHA. Vintage goober...makes sense.
Expect "ultra cool whored top-o-the-line sigs with sparkly C4D thingy majigs" in the near future. HA.

Definitely good. Text hurts it, but I suppose if you just want your name on it then whatever. That's the first thing I'd change about it, though.
If you want to take it further, go for more depth and blend the stock into the background more. Also, I'd just like to say: do NOT be afraid to put something overtop of the stock. Or, well, not something necessarily directly over the stock obviously, but in general I would be referring to even lighting effects (moreso darkness).

i like it but the text has to go and darken up the corner where the text was just seems too light

Hmmmm, ok.
No text, unless it is essential.
Blend stock with things ABOVE it.
lonelywonderer: Will try it out.
Thanks.

Blend stock with things ABOVE it.
For example, those little things on the bottom left (they sort of look like enlarged grass pieces or something). It wouldn't hurt to have some of those overtop of the stock ([our] left arm, maybe, not the whole stock). It gives the banner the feel that the stock isn't standing in front of it by showing the stock behind something.
