So, what do u ppl think about the new chick in town?

Imo, she's a nice person, but she's kinda overdeveloped for a "10 year old," and she seems kinda ditzy/lightheaded, but in a good way.:p

She's a good character on the game, but TV at times needs to work on her character. She's kind of a goof sometimes and sometimes, really nice and sweet. I prefer the side of May where she's nice and caring. She wears nice clothes. I hope May is aware Ash is taken.

I guess she's okay. I don't think it was a mistake that they made her ten, I just think they didn't draw her right. Or maybe the pogeywerld is just like a parallel universe where 10 would = 16 or so in the real world in the sense of maturity.

She's nice enough bur probably won't ever replace Misty... They did a fair job with her personality because it matches her appearance well.

Would have been nice if they made her a little less of a ditz, though.

Shes a huge ditz and sort of a pain sometimes especially when she whines. She does have two cool pokemon, Combusken(will soon have) and Bulbasaur. I like her a litt emore then Misty.

I like May, she's adorable. Just because she's 'replacing' Misty that you shouldn't like her, you have to see her for her own character. Lately you can see in the show that she's getting better with Pokémon, she's growing. She's also SO CUTE with her beautifly on her head XD

Misty is probably not in the show anymore simply because the Japanese VA couldn't continue to work on the show, or they just wanted to add a character from Sapphire and Ruby.

In english, May's VA is Veronica Taylor, the same as Ash (And April in TMNT, Tammy in Shaman King, Abby in Cubix, Amelia in Slayers etc etc )

Personally I just saw her today and she's so much like a cross between ash and misty it scared me. There were times I thought I was looking at misty or listening to ash. If it wasn't so ridiculous I'd almost be tempted to believe she's the daughter of ash and misty after they went back in time for some reason.

I live in Australia so the Pokemon Advanced episodes have just started and I have only seen May twice, but I am beginning to like her because she is stupid and funny.I don't know who I like better out of Misty and May... they are both o.k.

You mean Ash's father had a child with May's mother behind Norman's back?

You know technically we've never seen or heard much about Ash's father at all so maybe Norman really is Ash's dad either in a second marriage, Ash's was the result of an affair and is illegetimate (Although I think they call his mother mrs not miss) or his father is actually leading a secret double life while Ash's mother thinks he's off pokemon training he's really a gym leader with his other wife. Personally I still like the time travel theory myself.

Incidently today's episode in Australia saw the appearance of Max and to me he seems like a really annoying little snot. Hopefully he'll either get better or get beaten up a lot in the coming episodes. I think Torchick at least knew exactly what it was doing when it kept attacking him. :D

Think about this with Ash and Misty.
I saw how they parted and I feel Ash could have told Misty he cared for her. Only thing was Ash was not at that age yet to say such 'big words', and then there is fear on both sides that Misty loves Ash, Ash may not love her, or Ash loves Misty but sees himself as trainers, she's a legend gym leader, what future could they have? THey did a really poor job with Misty's departure, the dumbest story I ever had to witness because Misty's sisters don't give a damn for her.

May is 'too friendly.' I read of her contests, she's not aggressive like Drew (Shuu in Japan) is with his Pokemon. She can't train Pokemon right, I can't understand how some people feel she's matured when I see her having Beautifly chase frisbees! The Pokemon contests are probably going to be a joke if they have 'silly stuff' and not told seriously. May is stuck on the C average grade, Misty still has an A in being a great character. I can't understand how a person with a non aggressive attitude can win 2 out of 3 contests. Every sporting team I have seen that wins a championship, the coach was aggressive. May just isn't, I'm not saying at all be mean to Pokemon, I'm saying have a firm attitude and teach the Pokemon some good moves, high moves, combo moves, teach them things other then 'tricks!'
