Yes.. I got a glitch with my EV-cap... It doesn't exist..

When I EV-trained my Torchic, I trained it 252sp, 252at, 6sa... that was the point, thoguh.

That stupid lady didn't give me the stupid Effort Ribbon.. I had got it earlier, on my Breloom...

But, then, I didn't get it... Yes, I was really careful, when I did this... So, I continued on EV-training, so it had 504 in sp and at, 12 in sa... Still, no Effort Ribbon...
So, I got 252 in the rest, too.. And when it reached lvl 100... it got max-stats, (except for ivs).. And only at when I got 252in all, it received the ribbon.

Although I haven't posted much, I'm not a beginner at Pokémon, EV-training nor Ruby/Sapphire...

This means, ofcourse, that I get really strong Pokémon.
But, also, that they're illegal..

Is there somewhere to fix this, or, do I have to fight lvl25 Zigzagoon until it doesn't learn more moves, and _then_ put it in daycare and do the "slippery slope", so I don't screw my EV's up?

Help really appreciated...
Although I'd be considered lucky, anyone with a AR/GS could do the same, and thus, they're illegal.

(I had a glitch in my ruby file to, that got me a 1:832 chance of finding a shiny... :P)

Does everybody have glitches?

Thanks in advance,

I'm tempted to say you are incredibly lucky. Then again, Pokemon with illegal EVs can't be used in PC. If you train on this game pak and want to use your Pokemon for PC, be very careful.

In order to make sure you get ONLY 510 EVs, don't use vitamins, don't use the Macho brace, and train against the highest level Pokemon (this means using Wailmer for HP instead of Whismur). But for the most part try to only train against Pokemon that give one EP. Try not to get POKErus. When you get the lucky egg, use it. That way, you'll have 510 battles to level up hopefully to the point that it'll learn all of its moves. Then just put it in the darecare. Always keep a few Rare Candies on hand in case you get 510 EVs on a Pokemon without it learning all its moves.

I just wouldn't use the glitched pak for training Pokemon for PC.

What´s teh problem with POKErus and Macho Brace?? I use both of them and my EV´s training always was succesful

Maybe if you take my statement in the context of the original post, it will make more sense.

Oh, and you don't have to be _that_ careful about it, I just read your original post again, and yeah, just fight anything that gives EVs for what you've maxed out. Sorry about that.

Here is the best thing I can tell you. The first option is that you get pc and two memory cards. After you catch all the pokemon and beat the game trade over as many pokemon as you can to the gameboy game. You get the second memory card to copy your info so you have more pokemon to trade over. You will cap out at 92 pokemon so chose wisely. Then restart your cartridge and see if you have the same glitch. Next off see if pc will accept your altered pokemon. If not then you have a problem. If so go ahead like nothing was wrong. I would email nintedo and tell them your problem, they may know an answer.

Okay, thank you, guys.

I've taken all your suggestions in, and I think I'll do as darklogos suggested.

Only, I have to get PC... well, 'twas released last week, so... =/
And a gamecube :p

Ohwell, I planned getting them, anyway...

And I do seriously have doubts at mailing Nintendo... Mostly because I don't think we're supposed to know about EV's :p

Thank you, once again.

The poeple who discovered and named EVs and IVs hacked the game to get the info, I assume. So yeah, Nintendo won't know them as EVs.

There's this guy who found what he thought was a glitch in LTTP, but it turns out it wasn't and was slipped in intentionally by the programers. The best he could do is talk to a Nintendo game counsulor ($3 a minute by phone) who also said that they hadn't really figured that out either (I think it was Nintendo of America, so that might explain part of it).

I wonder if Nintendo ever looks around at communities like this one and finds out what we're finding out about this game.
