i got the idea from Strawhatter from gameFAQs. I use the abilities of the first three to regain lost HP, in conjunction with MR. Mime's encore and batonpass. I reflect first, making opponent use special attacks. Lets say I encore T-Bolt from a fully calm-minded Gardy (Just an example). I switch to Jolteon. When opponent switches to a ground, I bring out suicune or starmie. And opponent brings out electric, I switch again to Jolteon and regain substitute's lost HP.

Post replies... Again, NOT MY IDEA. It is Strawhatter's from GameFAQS in the article "Moveset/teambuilding Guide". I'VE just never seen one before, and I thought I thought I'd build one.

Mr.Mime@lefties
Calm
252 sp.atk, 252 sp.def, 6 HP
-Encore
-BP
-Psychic
-Reflect
No expeienced player would use Special Attacks against Mr.Mime even is Reflect was up as it has huge sp.def. And Mr.Mimes HP is too low for him to be reliable.

Jolteon@leftovers/petaya
Jolly
252 sp.atk, 252 spd, 6 HP
-T-Wave
-Sub
-HP:Grass
-T-bolt

Don't use 2 pokes of nearly the same type and Moveset. I've dropped Lapras, and you should drop Suicune because it is an 00ber.

Houndoom@Petaya
Modest
252 sp.atk, 252 spd, 6 HP
-S-day
-Flamethrower
-Solar Beam
-Crunch/Pursuit

Suicune@leftovers
Bold
252 def, 252 HP, 6 sp.atk/sp.def
-Surf
-Calm Mind
-Icebeam
-Rest
Don't use 00bers.

Starmie=Read Lapras.

Why are there 3 Waters on this team???

for houndoom, you need more speed, so Salac is better...

thanks for the rates. This wasn't a competitive team, just something I might try out against friend, for pure fun. ANd I've been gone from poke for so long, I didn't know suicune was now an 00ber. I guess calm mind DOES make it an 00ber... What about Raikou?

I don't have anything to say about the team, but I'd assume Raikou is too. Thanks a lot, I'd never heard of that guide. BTW, if you were Skar5784 or something like that on the old board, welcome back ! :)

yeah, I was skar1787. I'm suprised you remembered me. Anyway, you're welcome. That's a great guide. I love the whole "absorb" team idea. Imagine if they had "leaf absorb" and "psychic absorb". This team theme would be even more common than SkarmBliss, and that's saying something.

Suicune is an 00ber no matter what. Giving it Calm Mind just makes it an even cheaper 00ber.

Suicune isn't any more of an 00ber than Alakazam. Last time I checked, HP:grass carrying water types were on every other team. Raikou gets killed by Dugtrio easily. So I wouldn't say he's an 00ber.

ANyway, yeah. The team.

Mr. Mime has Baton Pass why? Either put Barrier on somewhere (which wouldn't go very well with you stratagy) or put on a special move (can it learn the elelmental pucnhes?)

Jolteon looks good.

Lapras shouldn't have both physical and special attacks. It can learn Ice Beam (STAB), Thunderbolt, and Psychic. Just some ideas.

Houndoom doesn't have time to Sunny Day or the staying power to use Counter. HP:water is good.

Suicune: You might want to attach Leftovers. You also might want to put on Calm Mind over Roar, but that would mean you'd have to put HP:grass over Ice Beam.

Starmie should have Lefties. And how about Confuse Ray over Thunderbolt? Starmies makes a good parafuser.

Triple weakness to grass, triple weakness to electric, double weakness to ground, double weakness to bug, double weakness to dark, double weakness to fighting...OUCH.

This isn't all that great of a team, though I'm not discrediting you for that. The idea sseems cool, and may look good on paper, but when you bring it to the battlefield, it's not going to cut it. I wouldn't use it.
