I have an Autographed Quick Silver Dragon. It's in the gold writing. It has an original magic backing. Does anyone know where it came from, and whats its worth? (I'm thinking its one of those Artist Sketch Prizes)

the artist's cards have an all white back on them...

I have a few myself

I don't know what yours is unless it's just a normal card signed with a gold pen or just a copied signature...

from what you described it sounds like a neat card to have

Could it be a tournament deck misprint or something...

I noticed the ink is not photocopied its looks like legit shiny ink. Not like the worlds decks where they look like paint.

have you done any of the tests to it to see if it's a real card

Do you have a scan of it?
I'd like to see it.
It could help us determine the legitimacy of it too

if you go to a pro tour, there are sometimes artists there. They usually have gold or silver pens, and sign their names, and/or draw pictures for fans. The fan usually has to provide their own cards, or you have to buy artist proofs.

Two artists drew dragons on my MTG hat.

I don't think a sig adds value to the card, some think it detracts. It's more for the coolness factor!

*agrees*

If it is a legit signing, I would say that card would make some real money on ebay if you could find out who did that signing....
But the coolness factor is still there!!! :) Find out who signed it and personally i'd Keep it!

It's most likely Legit. Value depends on who's buying it. People like to "Pimp" (am I allowed to say that here?) out their decks by getting stuff in BB, Foreign BB, foil, and signed. Makes them feel special or something. Anyway, to me its worth nothing. A crap rare, but to someone who is looking for stuff to pimp out their r/u dragon deck, it could be worth 20 bux. Just depends. I'd say it's almost definitely legit. Sell it on ebay.
