What are roms? I see like FR and LG on ebay in english but they arent out yet

ROMs are illegal copies of games, usually as computer files. The discussion of these and how to obtain them isn't allowed on the board though...

I doubt they're in English. If they are, they're probally translated by some guy. Who knows, I've seen many patches to convert the Japanese version into English...

basically what those are are japanese roms, translated (i've seen a site that someone is doing a Fr translation for the rom) and then loaded on a GBA cart. anyone that says "english" on ebay is a definate bootleg copy, most japanese ones too (i got one, came with the ***. box, no adapter, and the cart was grey, otherwise it loads up and plays like it was real).

Is talking about them being on eBay not suggesting how to obtain them? Yes it is. But you said "the dicussion of roms" AND how to obtain them. The discussion of roms is allowed, Hatredder simply asked what roms were, not how he could come by one.
