I have a real good Groudon with good stats but I need some help of which move to delete for Eruption. Should I get rid of a move for another move?
Here's my Groudon:
Lv.69 Groudon
@ Scope Lens
Solar Beam
Earthquake
Fissure
Fire Blast
HP: 245
Attack: 234
Defense: 214
Sp. Attack: 163
Sp. Defense: 131
Speed: 150

Definately Fissure. It's just not worth it at 30%.Besides,you already have Earthquake on there for a ground move.Oh,and replace Fire Blast with Flamethrower. ;)

Why would you put HP Rock?Earthquake's better.Besides,Groudon can't learn Rockslide. At least I don't think so.Overheat isn't good on him.His special attack is already low enough. Here's the standard.
Earthquake
Solarbeam
Eruption / Fire Blast / Flamethrower
Return / Rest

A. I first want to thank your for saying Groudon's attack is better than its special attack. That shows me you are not some random guy who blurts out bad sets.
B. Ancientpower's PP sucks and its base power is only 60. HP Rock can have 70 base power and more pp. Let us just rule out Rock Slide until we can get comfirmation. Ancientpower is a good substitute for HP Rock because it is easier to obtain.
C. Earthquake is very strong esp. after STAB...but its useless against Levitate and Flyers. HP Rock/Ancientpower can deal witht the flyers.
D.Yes, Solarbeam is great with Groudon's effect...You can just let loose a 120 base power attack. You said it yourself, however, Groudon's Special Attack is just to low for this move.
E. You set is fine except Eruption is not reliable, Flamethrower, AND Fire Blast are weaker than OverHeat.
F. The reason for OverHeat is simple. To kill off Grass. OverHeat lowers Special Attack sharply after it connects. It's like tossing a stat you won't really use. He can even ditch OverHeat altogether for Return anyway.
G.Bulk UP obviously is to boost the already great Attack Stat and Defense Stat.
H. Rest isn't good for Groudon. Simply because of its Speed. Take this for example. Starmie Vs. Groudon 1 on 1 last battle. Starmie uses Ice Beam and take out 50%+ your HP. Groudon uses some attack and nearly KOs Starmie. Next turn. Starmie does Ice Beam and kills Groudon. If Groudon was faster I'd say go with it. Even my Blaziken was faster than Groudon...that is sad.

I think it'd be best to go all physical with EQ, Brick Break, and Anchient Power (or HP:rock) along with Bulk Up (definately Swords Dance if you have access to FR/LG). Jolly nature would be best in that case.
Or, you could slap on Overheat. It'd be his only special attack, so the effect wouldn't matter. You could use White Herb if you wanted. It'd be nice for pulling on those physical walls (namedly, Skarmory). In that case, Hasty nature would probably be best.
Don't use Solar Beam. Overheat/Eruption is the only special move worth using on him, because it has Very high base power and gets the boost from Sunny Day.
Whatever the case, he should have a speed-boosting nature and EVs in attack and speed.

I strongly disagree. Don't give regirock 2 rock moves. Don't give lati@s 2 flying moves, or no physical for that matter. Groudon is okay, but eq and dig are both ground. kyogre needs thunder and has 2 ice moves. raquaza can't learn volt tackle, and it has 2 dragon moves. jirachi doesn't need psychic and psybeam. deoxys has 3 psychic attacks and one useless one.
You need to really consider when you post the word "best."
You need to rethink calling these the best
