Exp Share and Macho Brace

Scenario: Let's say a baby hatched from an egg, but the EVs I need are on pokemon that are too strong for it.

Solution: No problem then. I'll put Exp Share on it, and let some other Pokemon do the fighting for it. I'm just curious though.

If the baby were to have the Exp Share, and I gave the other pokemon the Macho Brace, would the baby receive twice the amount of points that the other one gets, even without fighting?

no, only the pkmn holding the Macho Brace doubles its EVs

That'd be me. Feel free to do the same. If you want to link to a thread, just use the following tag (I'm putting spaces in between so that it doesn't execute the command):
