People rarly use spellcasters these days and this is a good build but you can tweak it.....

- 1 gemini elf
+ 1 gearfried the iorn knight

This is one of the reasons butterfly dagger was banned in advanced format.
But if this is an all spellcaster deck then there are different options....

- 3 gemini elf
- 1 magical marionette
+ 1 card trader / lighten the load
+ 3 skilled dark magician


Sorry for dissing the gemini elves but skilled dark magician IS alot better for two reasons.

- has 700 more defence.
- can summon dark magician with three spell counters.

If you have the spellcaster deck then you know that it's best to trade your dark magician back into your deck for another card but it tells you to use lighten the load instead. Cool deck I'm a huge fan of spellcasters.
(there is one spellcaster that everyone uses)

If you only play 1 banned card, why would you want to play in a format where every deck is 10x faster than they are in Advanced Format? This would be crushed by Traditional chaos/otk/any deck. Sorry man.

This deck is pretty nice. I love themed decks and this one isn't just spellcaster but also burn. I always prefer nice fun themes over something like chaos. I would take out 1-2 tributes for a second dark magician and dark magician of chaos (though it is pretty expensive). I would also take out the gem elves for skilled dark magicians. Maybe take out one gem elf and put in 2 skilled dark magician (one replacing the tribute if you can't get dark magician of chaos). Also, make sur to put in monster reborn and dark hole. These should not be hard to find and every traditional deck should have them. Overall, I really like this deck. My friend has a nice magician deck too but his is no burn and more bringing out monsters and overpowering your opponent. He'd appreciate your deck.
