My great apologies to u, InterFed_OV. Like what they said, i should not be so hard on you. And you are right, i should have read the tearms i agreed on. But those guys were so funny when they went on & on size of brains! Anyway...

Now for the real question: I have followed what you guys said- train pikachu to lvl 25 & above. The most important thing...making it happy. I have done that- it is now lvl 27 & is very happy whenever i talk to it.

However, i was still unable to get balbasaur. (She's still telling me she looking for a good trainer! Grrr!!) So is there something else i really lack of, forgotten to take or someone i haven't speak to? Tell me what u guys exactly have done & i will follow.

havent played in forever but the tip would be just to beat hte 3rd gym i did that and got bulbasaur

Oh, that's what i forgot to add too. I have already obtained my 8 badges, defeat the elite 4 like countless of times. My elite pokemon team are all level 70 somthing.

After defeating lt. surge, i didn't know i could obtain balbasaur. So is it now too late or is there somthing i have to complete to get balbasaur?

I had trouble with the same thing heres what to do. First heal Pikachu to full heath. Then buy a super potion Next Try to give it to Pikachu and it'll say it has no effect. Keep trying to give it to him and after ten or fifteen trys He will be as happy as possible then just go talk to the lady and she'll give you Bulbasaur!:D
Note. I think you need a space open in your party too!:D

Sorry, what did you mean of "needing a space open in your party"?

That means you have to have 5 Pokémon with you with the sixth slot being left empty.

Charmander is at the corner of Routes 24 and 25. If you have 5 or less Pokémon with you, a kid gives you a Lv10 Charmander for free.

I have gotten balbasaur...at long last!! Thank you so much...those who tried to help. Espcially Elemental Master...that was a great tip! I am so greatful, this situation has been giving me a headache!

Just to add to his tip, it should be at least fifteen trys when giving it to pikachu.

I also like to repeat my qustion... After you defeat misty and if you haven't defeated Lt.Surge, are you able to "claim" balbasaur? Also, must pikachu be at least level 26 to do so?

You need Pikachu at really high friendship and the Cascade Badge in order to get Bulbasaur. It doesn't matter if you've beaten Lt. Surge already or not. Pikachu doesn't need to be at any particualr level, either.

For anyone who has trouble getting bulbasaur in pokemon yellow, this is what you should do:

In the beginning, it will be best to give pikachu a potion straight away once you got hold of the first one in viridian city. "Feed" it for 15 times and you will see the unhappy pikacu liking you a lot. By the time you reached cerulen city, when you talk to pikachu, hearts will be appear on top of its head…it is so in love with you!

By doing it when you just start out, it will save you the trouble of fuming over the fact that you are unable to get bulbasaur later when you reach cerulean. The lady who is holding onto bulbasur is at the left of the pokemon center. And you know what guys? Take no heed to the rumors saying that "you need to obtain the thunder badge from Lt. Surge or at least the cascade badge from Misty"...'coz there's seriously no need to!

Trust me! I've tested it out for myself. You don't even need a super potion for this, just a regular potion would do.:)
