I've been running different kinds of decks for a while now, my most recent one being a toon/fairy deck I made with a little help from you guys... I remember first starting out with a decent stall deck comprised mostly of insects and water monsters... It's been about two years since I left that deck and went with dragons and spellcasters for a while, but now that all fo these great stall cards are out, I wanted to get back to my roots with a stall deck that would keep field control and life point control evenly matched... So I looked through my vast amount of cards collected over the years and here is what I grabbed out of the piles...

Monsters - 24 (15-20)

INVADER OF DARKNESS
SPIRIT REAPER X3
MAGICIAN OF FAITH X2
WITCH OF THE BLACK FOEST
KISEITAI X2
MEDUSA WORM X3
SWARM OF SCARABS X3
SWARM OF LOCUSTS X3
ZOLGA
MOISTURE CREATURE
DANCING FAIRY X3
GUARDIAN ANGEL JOAN

Spells - 32 (20-25)

BALLISTA OF RAMPART SMASHING
CESTUS OF DAGLA
DIAN KETO THE CURE MASTER X3
SOUL EXCHANGE
TRIBUTE TO THE DOOMED
SCAPEGOAT
POT OF GREED
GRACEFUL CHARITY
MYSTICAL SPACE TYPHOON
HEAVY STORM
MONSTER REBORN
CHANGE OF HEART
PREMATURE BURIAL
STRAY LAMBS X2
SWORDS OF REVEALING LIGHT
DARK HOLE
THE SANCTUARY IN THE SKY
EKIBYO DRAKMORD X3
A LEGENDARY OCEAN X 2
LEVEL LIMIT - AREA B X2
GIANT TRUNADE X3
REMOVE TRAP X2

Traps - 26 (15-20)

MAGIC JAMMER X3
CALL OF THE HAUNTED
SHADOW SPELL
WABOKU X3
SPELLBINDING CIRCLE X2
MAGIC CYLINDER
DRAINING SHIELD
EXCHANGE OF THE SPIRIT
NUTRIENT Z X2
TORNADO WALL X2
BAD REACTION TO SIMOCHI X2
THE EYE OF TRUTH X2
GRAVITY BIND X2
DUST TORNADO X3

These cards together make a deck that is too large for conventional use, as well as strategic use... I'll be slimming this one down through a period of two or three days, but any assistance you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated...
I'm wanting to keep the deck count between 45-60... Any more or less would just feel too small or too big...

yeah... I added sangan and mystic tomatoe to the mix... I was able to pick a few things to slim it down but it still needs a lot of work...

thanks for the advice... I've always ran swarm of scarabs and swar of locusts for field control... You wouldn't believe how effective this was two years ago with the limited list only effecting major tournament players... I did some more tweaking, but alas, it still needs work... More advice welcome...

yeah, I went ahead and took out tornado wall and a legendary ocean last night... I figured that if I was going to use them, I should use the monsters that use leagendary ocean to get at life points directly, but then that would just make combos that would be situational... situational is the last thing I want to be with this deck...

Don't worry, I'm not taking out a staple like pot of greed... I still like all advice you guys give me... There are a few things I can do with it all to help make this deck a better one...

Additional Comment:
Here is what I have so far...

TOTAL-60 CARDS//THIS IS AN OKAY AREA FOR ME WHEN IT COMES TO STALL DECKS BECAUSE I LIKE HAVING THE ABILITY OF MY OPPONENT RUNNING OUT OF CARDS OPEN TO ME... AS FAR AS IT GOES THOUGH, THIS NUMBER MIGHT BE STILL A LITTLE TOO UNCONVENTIONAL FOR SOME, SO IF YOU GUYS STILL THINK IT SHOULD BE LOWERED TO AROUND 45-55 CARDS, THEN BE MY GUEST AND KEEP SENDING ME POSSIBILITIES FOR CHANGE...

Thanks For That... I Had Forgotten About Nimble Momonga's Effect Until Now... You Gave Me A Decent Idea Of Where To Go From Here... More Advice Still Welcome... With All These Great Ideas You Guy Sare Giving Me, I Might Be Done With This Deck Within The Next Day Or So...

Additional Comment:
I Did A Few Touch-ups On This... I Took Out Magic Jammer Because Dust Tornado Just Makes More Sense... I Also Put In Raigeki Break To Add To The Field Control A Little... After A Few More Alterations Then I Should Be Able To Take This Deck To My Next Local Tournament

you need more burn cards that dont involve combos

Yeah, When I First started Playing The Game I Had A Deck Of Around 70 Cards Because Of All The Combos I Ran With... The Problem Was That I Would Always End Up With A Part Of Certain Combos In My Hand And Nothing Good On The Field To Stall Until The Rest Of The Broken Combos Were In My Hand... I Leaned From That And Now Only Ever Use Three Combos Ever...
Eye Of Truth And Bad Reaction To Simochi Just Because I Like Seeing Their M/t Field Full And Their Faces Cringe When Another Magic Card Hits Their Hand
Tornado Wall And Legendary Ocean Because Their Attacks Are Pointless
Swords Of Concealing Light/guardian Angel Joan/ballista Of Rampart Smashing Because I Get To Raise Herattack 1500 Points With Each Attack, And I Get The Lp Back As Collateral

The Problem With These Combos Is That In Order To Work, Each One Has To Be Safe From M/t Field Wipers Like Feather Duster And Fun Stuf Like That...

It is an interesting deck. It is difficult to make recommendations since this deck's path to victory is somewhat undefined.
Specifically, however, if Bad Reaction To Simochi is an important card for this deck's strategy, I would recommend adding Snatch Steal and Rain of Mercy (perhaps removing Dian Keto the Cure Master). Concerning LP gain, Solemn Wishes is a great card, and Cure Mermaid is a worthy replacement for Dancing Fairy (which, when summoned, requires waiting a turn before switching it to defense position). White Magician Pikeru and Absorbing Kid from the Sky are also worth considering. Concerning outlasting your opponent's deck, cards with self-recursion abilities like Outstanding Dog Marron, Malevolent Nuzzler, Horn of Light, and Bait Doll may be useful. Concerning stall cards, I would suggest Heart of Clear Water (perhaps equipped to Pikeru or Spirit of the Breeze) or The Unhappy Girl (especially with Spirit Barrier).

wow, I never thought about that before... I was always so bothered to put in as many fairies for lp gain that I had forgotten about the abilities of some of the more overlooked cards, thanks...
