i apologize if this question is in the wrong area, but i plan to go to some local tournaments in a few weeks in the ct area. what are some of the more prevalent magic and trap cards that i probably will see?

Well, there probably will be the obvious card. Staples in other words like dark hole, Breaker the magical warrior, ddwl etc. Ya know stuff like that.
