Giant Kozaky
If there is no face-up "Kozaky" on the field, destroy this card. If this face-up card on the field is destroyed, inflict damage to the current controller's Life Points equal to the original ATK of this card. 2500 ATK/2400 DEF
I wonder... can you set this card and play a card like "Creature Swap", giving it to your opponent and then attack it, which turns it face-up, and it's effect is now in play... sending Giant Kozaky to the Graveyard and inflicting 2500 damage to your opponent.
Cause really, it's a good move...
You get a -1 for playing Creature Swap,
You keep the -1 after you switch monsters,
You attack Giant Kozaky and it's flipped up... destroying itself,
So you go back to a 0, but your opponent just lost 2500 LP.
If you call this a bad combo, fine. But I like it, and it has some originality... but please, confirm... will it be destroyed right after I set it?
The Rulebook says that effects aren't active if the monster is set. Giant Kozaky has a continuous effect, and if I set it face-down and switch it to my opponent's field, attack it (which flips it up, and even though it's not a Flip effect, the continuous effect automatically activates), it gets destroyed and my opponent loses 2500 LP. Can anyone just confirm that this is legit?
