With dark world running around, don is risky, so how about this:
LEGACY HUNTER
Rarity: Super Rare
Attribute: EARTH
Type: Warrior/Effect
Level: 4
ATK: 1000
DEF: 1500
Description:
When this card attacks a face-down Defense Position monster and destroys it and sends it to the Graveyard as a result of battle, your opponent returns 1 random card from his/her hand to his/her Deck. His/her Deck is then shuffled.
Obviously, its warrior/earth toolbox friendly.
Advantages over donny:
Searchable by "warrior searcher lady" whatever she's called
Does not activate dark world effects
Combos nicely with swords of concealing light/ tsuku/ BoM, and wicked breaking flamberge- baou to take care of the flippers.
Disadvantages:
Only 1000 ATK. Don is 1400 - almost the max for toolbox.
Baou is crap, because of the discard when you activate it.
Don gets effect when attacking directly, LH has to destroy a monster.
I don't think he's as useful as don, but what do you guys think?

Nowhere near "Don Zaloog"'s level, specifically because Defense Position monsters will almost always have a DEF greater than 1000. This renders "Legacy Hunter"'s otherwise good effect nearly useless.
DZ, on the other hand, can get its effect off whenever it inflicts Battle Damage, be it through a direct attack or overflow damage when battling an Attack Position monster. This leads to much better versatility when compared to LH.
Oh, and LH's ATK is horrid, and doesn't make up for its effect at all.
I think the decision is clear.

I'm the first to try to break any kind of effect, but this card is really bad.
Not only if you compare it to Don, but even when you look at it alone.
Sure, it's searchable, i'll give it that, but what are you supposed to do with it, when you have it?
1000 just won't destroy anything without an equip.
No, in this armor-infested meta, make that a giant Trunade this mon and an equip to be sure.
You could use gaia power to pump him up to 1500 to actually kill something with him, but that would be suicide, as nearly everyone plays some earthmonsters that would get bigger than this monster.
This card could have been playable if it hadn't the "send to graveyard" part and at least 1050 attack, as it then could just destroy an ojama token to get it's effect off.
If you really want to send a card from your opponents hand to his deck, just try playing a wind deck.
Spiritual Art Miyabi costs two cards at most and you get to choose the card that is then put at the bottom of your opponents deck.
Better effect for a lesser cost.

all i say is duh. legacy vs don hmmmmmm does it take that long to figure out who is the better monster? don is definately the higher monster b/c of its versatility. ok u know ur opponent runs dark world, u get out don, ur opponent thinks ur a noob, u attack and choose to remove top 2 in opponents deck. good job. and if its another deck that doesnt run dark world, then u can choose hand and make him top deck. legacy hunter just delays everything and 1000 attack cant even kill a sangan. lol.

No contest Don spanks legacy. The 2 cards aren't in the same league and shouldn't be compared.

Don Zaloog.
I'd rather use a Sasuke Samurai or Mystic Swordsman then
Legacy Hunter. They would chop the monster up rather its
effect have the chance of activation. Spirit Reaper? Does
this get destroyed in battle? How about the monster which
returns attackers to the top of owner's deck? If someone's
attacking with Legacy Hunter into one of those two maybe
he deserves to lose.
