Decent LIGHT Spellcasters

I was thinking of adding a Chaos Sorcerer to my Spellcaster deck. However, I only have 2 LIGHT monsters, opossed to my 14 (:eek: ) DARK monsters. I didn't want to add any card to it, but I would like some decent ones. And seeing how it's a Spellcaster deck, I would like to abuse Magicial Dimension. What would be some good LIGHT Spellcasters?

Why don't people use this card more? God, I would, seeing how it's basically a wekened MoF.

Would Maha Vailo be good for a deck like this?

Pixie knight has always been a favorite of mine, 1300 attack and gain a spell back? of course...sure the opponent picks, but as long as you don't have anything bad in their it's great.

Maha vailo... maybe depends on how much equips, also what kind some multi effect ones like the twinswords? Maha's own effect would cover the Atk loss, add on the shooting star bow, 1050 attacking directly twice, 2100. 3100 if she's been brought back by premature.

Edit: Fairy of the Springs would be decent help, most people forget that premature is also an equip, arsenal robber takes care of that and other equip support*

what about skilled white magician? 1700/1900 spellcaster. pretty good defense and attack, can block an airknight, kill dda, has an effect that can add a light to your graveyard whenever you need it, as long as you have three counters on it, and works to help swarm with magician's circle.

you could always load up on magical beast cerberus when it comes out

You can try using Chaos Command Magician. Its not so bad. Maybe a time wizard....

Yeah, there's not enough good Light-Spellcasters to go around:

-Time Wizard
-Magician of Faith
-Skilled White Magician
-Royal Magical Library (nice with Toon Table of Contents..but not worth it usually)

Running any of those cards would compromise your deck's efficiency.

You'll find that Spellcasters are much better in taking the Dimension Magic + DM/DMOC or the Phoenix route. We realllllllly need Dark Magic Curtain for Dark Magic Attack to get really playable. If you have the cards, Sage's Stone isn't that bad, but too situational outside of a deck with 3 Magician's Circles.

There's always Silent Magician. When you level her up you get a light in your graveyard and you could thin out your deck.

Man, i was faced with this EXACT problem :D

In the end of the day I ended up playing 1 White Magical Hat with Blade Knight and Reflect Bounder.

While the last two don't contribute to the theme, they can operate well independently. As for WMH - I was looking for a spellcaster with a good effect. Donny Z effect in the spellcater build? Ok, i'll take that.

Skilled white makes a decent beatstick I suppose but I wanted something that may be able to net me a little advantage as well as damage. Gathering Spell Counters for a card that might not even exist in your deck seems a little pointless but hey 1700/1900 stands up to a bit.

For my chaos deck - tell you the truth I was hard pressed for Darks - now I also have a Dark World deck that's almost all Darks... no wait, it is.

D.D.M. - Different Dimension Master is one of my favorites (especially in Chaos), but with this format having so few instant advantage cards and several more drawing engines but no where enough support to base a deck on any one of them - unless you work at it - I would suggest Royal Magical Library. Sometimes I think I could use a Banisher of the Light or three - cool combo with DD Survivor - but I think Library wins.

Pixie Knight I do use - but only in a deck with more than half defencive monsters - and 3 DD Borderline, just awesome in a Phoenix/Chaos deck.

This seems to work decent.

- staples, btw, I bothered to mention Breaker because he was a Spell Caster, Dragons are awesome here. Sometimes something like Light of Intervention can combo well with Chaos Sorcerer - at least you gain advantage this way while you cannot attack.

Those, Magician of Faith and Cybernetic Magician are your best bets.

If you want to use Buster Blader, Skilled White Magician's also cool... Time Wizard if you're lucky.

IMO, Cybernetic Magician is tough card to have in a Spellcaster's deck. But considering that the question was to bring out Chaos Sorcerer, which implies that this is for a Traditional deck, then Cybernetic Magician could well work with... that snake... *grrrrr*
