He can Dodge attacks by your opponent (outside of the Damage Step). By removing him from play you can swamp the field when he returns. also, by removing him, he can stop pesky removal like Smashing Grounds/Fissures/Dark Hole.

yeah he was cool when he was first released and has only gotten better since then if you remove two monsters to save him every time you can over the course of a game and then when the removed pile grows to big play rfdd and hit for damage with five big monsters

How has he gotten better? Thats like saying chaos has gotten better with the current restrictions. He used to have alot of synergy with the DMoC OTK, but then they limited DMoC, he used to be able to dodge more cards when TT was unlimited and when mirrorforce, raikegi, CED, TIV, fiber jar wernt banned.
Strike ninja decks (with scout planes) also greatly benefited from graceful and painful, and they've both gone too. If you're one of those clever people who used scapegoats to get your scout planes in the grave when they were summoned back...well guess what, scapegoat is limited! And what about splashing some other machines into the deck and taking advantage of limiter to kill your scout planes? Another card that has been limited!
Im not saying that this is the only way to play a ninja deck but all these cards or comobs were pretty lethal with him and his planes.
Dont get me wrong, he's still an awsome card, but its not offten that someone is going to play a sakuretsu/smashing ground against him unless its their last option, and there is no way that he is better now than he once was. IMO his best hour was when mass destruction effects had to be included in the text of a card, otherwise it was ignored.

I would disgaree actually, with the amount of 141 cards prowling this format he has gotten better, come on, the guy has 1700atk points, I highly doubt any player would like to take that every turn.
They'll try to get rid of him and then you can dodge and get them to waste as much of their removal as possible.

1700 isnt big enough atm to be any real threat, in the average CC (i feel so dirty!) we have cybers, DDA, DDWL and DDS all ready to pounce (or atleast suicide) on this little guy and reapers to defend. He's just really not that great at the moment, but please dont mis-understand me I love the ninja!

And he leaves you open for a direct attack.

Only if you dodge removal, his effect doesn't cause battle replay.

imagine this:
I have : Strike Ninja face-up no other monster, no spell/trap, only "creature swap" in my hand
opponent : he has only 1 F/D monster
so I play creature swap for switching each monster, then i active Strike Ninja effect to remove him.
Does this situation is like creature swaping "horus lv6" or crature swap desapear and nothing happend?
thx

Yes it does.... He dodges, it causes a reply, then can attack either another monster, or your life points if you dont have 1. Strike Ninja is incredibly useful in this format, even without Planes, 1-1's are key in this format, and he forces your opponent to waste them.
