Many people go through their spares and always pass this card, Abyssal Designator. Don't think it's a useless card. Believe in its power. I look at most decks and see they have a lot of the same cards, (e.g. Spirit Reaper, Dan Zaloog, Jinzo, Mobius, Cyber Jar, Cyber Dragon, Breaker, etc..) Let's all sit down and think. How about we aim for these precious targets? In most decks, whether it be Beatdown or Cookie cutter, have these cards by themselves. If you call Machine/Dark,what do you think? That's Right, JINZO!! Guess what, he would be the only dark machine in most of those unoriginal decks. If you call Rock/Dark, what do you think? You must be Einstein!!!.That's right my little rock friend,CYBER JAR!!! Abyssal Designator is a card you want in your deck, so PUT IT IN!!!

Delinquent Duo is gone though, this card is just to get rid of the most common cards u see in a deck.

I wouldn't play it outside a Bounce deck, and D.D. Designator is better for that, because it removes the card from play.

Decent common, but Thestalos is better. This would be a fun card to play though against your friends.

Hmm, you could always call WIND/Spellcaster against a Nephthys deck.

Well, if you KNEW the card was in their hand then it wouldn't be half-bad. But sending a Jinzo from their DECK to the graveyard is not a good idea (think premature). If you have other ways to look at their hand then it might be good, but not really since DD Designator would do the EXACT same thing, only better.

So in conclusion DD Designator>>>>>>>>>>>>This.

You got to combo it with another card like Auto. Action Unit.

You call the Att./Type, they toss it, then you A.A.U. it out.
Safest to just call out Water/Aqua to try to Abyssal Designate Mobius out.

Hmm, you could always call WIND/Spellcaster against a Nephthys deck.
Wouldn't you rather call FIRE/Wing-Beast and actually eliminate the problem?

You could also call WATER/Aqua (Mobius).

Well... if you do and they run a half decent Phoenix Deck you can hit Firebird, or against a crazy Phoenix deck hit Fushi no Tori.

This is nifty sideboard tech, run this duel 2 and 3 after you know their deck. Or against a friend where you know they run things like Levia Dragon or Creator which are really uncommon type combinations. Run it if you run Disappear/Soul Release/Witch Doctor of Chaos/Kycoo/Necrovalley/Big Burn. Only of value if you can backup sending it away with a way to keep it away.
