i think its because you cant revive him and theres so many destruction cards being played at the moment eg
skauretsu armor
smashing ground
exiled force
widespread ruin

He's as useful as ever easily in the top ten single monster tributes in the game. People are reluctant to play it for the same reason they always been: it can't be revived.

He is underrated, but I run him. He's great in my Main Deck (which is Beatdown.) I know he can't be revived, but there are only two common revive cards in Advanced Format. He's great with Monster Reincarnation. His best use, of course, is Fiend decks based around Dark Necrofear that run Dimension Fusion or RFADD. He's my second favorite monster card in the game (Jinzo being my favorite monster card ever since I saw him on the T.V. show and heard about him coming out.)

Hades is still good, and best used in fiend decks. IMO that is really the only deck it belongs in.

In my eyes this has been one of the top 5 single tribs since it came out it pretty much has not left my deck since its inception

ive been running a strike ninja rftdd deck lately and dark ruler hades has survived on the field longer than any other monster in my deck because he can negate any monster that can help ur opponent kill him or get into his deck to get something that can, you time it so he has less of a backfield (prefferably none) then if u want more security use don/reaper to limit his options. imo playing dark ruler right can be a dominating force in most decks, if u can
