Sorry Conrad if I seem interrupting. I was bored and decided to post one of my decks. This is the Orca SaD deck, a deck running solely around controlling the field and hand.
Orca's have the power to destroy a monster if you sacrifice a Torpedo Fish, or destroy a Spell or Trap card by sacrificing a Cannonball Spear Shellfish. These are easily obtained and reused, through the Mother Grizzlys, Sangan and Salvages. Orca becomes a level 4 monster under A Legendary Ocean, so he's easier to summon. Levia Dragon - Daedalus was a difficult choice for this deck. As he can destroy the field, and set it up for Orca, he's also tricky. You have to use him at the right time.
I also chose to side the second copies of Sakuretsu Armor and Bottomless Trap Hole, in favor of the Spiritual Water Art's. Since Orca can't attack the hand, these do. They're good late game, when the hand size is low. However, if you come up against a more aggressive player, switch them out for the Sakuretsu Armor and Bottomless Trap Hole.
Amphibious Bugroth MK-3 is just there for some LP damage. It can also be recovered with Salvage. Salvage is another card with tricky usage. It's crucial that the player using this deck analyze the field situation in order to debate what to bring back. If the opponent has 2 monsters and 1 Spell/Trap face-down, it might be better to bring back an Amphibious Bugroth and a Cannonball Spear Shellfish instead of two Torpedo Fish.
The "bait" monsters, Torpedo Fish and Cannonball Spear Shellfish, are also decent monsters themselves. They pack 1200 ATK when A Legendary Ocean is on the field, and they are unaffected by Spell Cards. This means that they won't die by Dark Hole, won't switch for Enemy Controller, etc... This makes them useful attackers and defenders as well. But most of the time, they'll simply be used for tributing.
In conclusion, does this deck have the power, resources, and stamina to compete with other decks? I didn't want to post this in the Advanced Deck Discussion, since I'm not looking for a review/fixes. I want to know your opinions on this decent deck, as well as the knowledge of whether or not it's tournament worthy. Comment, criticism, insults and praise are all welcome.
